This would be very enjoyable, were it not for the insane difficulty. I don't mind a hard game - I've played all the Souls - but this is just not fun.

The first couple of missions are nice, the style's great and the sound effects fit extremely well, but ultimately, it's just impossible.

It looks like ♥♥♥♥, uses default assets from some gamemaker-like application and can be controlled with just 1 hand.

But it's better and more addictive than anything I've played in the last 2 years. Look, you've seen the price the developer asks - just buy it.

Fun game, initially, but... The grind is horrendous. No, not horrendous - impossible. Getting to a new vehicle takes Research Points, which you gather very slowly, win or lose. But you can't research any vehicle you want - you need to get every stupid version of that vehicle in between, with very little to no changes from your previous.

So you can be stuck in a tank that looks the same, shoots the same terrible shells and is just as weak as the previous vehicle. Same with planes and ships. So the incentive is just not there.

It also doesn't help that the majority of the playerbase is just... ♥♥♥♥. At least in the lower battleranks. They point their plane into the direction of the enemy, line up with the reticle and just pull the trigger, trusting into some higher power that they either get a kill or crash into it. Rinse and repeat.

So while you can spend actual money to buy in-game currency, vehicles and a faster research rate, this feels like P2W. And since Gaijin is Russian, I don't suggest actually sending money their way.

One of those very rare games which worked on mobile as an actual decent mobile game. But still easier to play on a PC :)

While certainly the best (or only) way to play all games released so far on a modern system, the games do have issues. MCC tries to streamline the games a bit, with a central UI and ways to configure settings for all games, the games do not seem to lend them to it.

Halo - Reach: No issues, other than being an extremely nameless, characterless character.
Halo 1: Fairly straightforward, but this was originally a PC game, after all, before Microsoft bought Bungie. Only some weird shadow/bumpmapping issue with textures close to the camera. It's Halo. Aside from some repetitive maps, it's all good.
Halo 2: Nightmare to get running. Could not use maximum visual fidelity settings. Kept crashing on load, even experiencing some memory leak issues (Which is impressive to see when you have 16 GB of RAM). Shame that Bungie/343 didn't take the opportunity to fix the weird transition between 2 and 3.
Halo 3: Didn't experience issues, other than some more repetitive levels.
Halo 3 - ODST: Identical to Halo 3. The central hub idea was novel, but ultimately didn't really fit. Also bizarre to hijack a vehicle, only to have it despawn right next to you when you exit.
Halo 4: Best experience so far. Loading times are extremely fast, shockingly so. Probably because it's the most recent game, suited to modern systems. Story leaves much to be desired, but probably picked up again in Halo 5.

Can only hope they'll add Halo 5 to the collection eventually, but doubtful.

Less frustrating to play (Fires closer to bosses), but bosses are as impossible as ever. Recommended if you enjoy the setting, but stay away if you're in the mood for a game where you can switch your brain off.

Tough recommendation or sad condemnation?

It looks cute. It starts out fun and easy enough. But both the controls and difficulty are horrendous. Balance wasn't really a concern when they were developing it. While you get three characters to play with (Melee, caster and healer), they are often split up or solo. So by the time I had to get thru a dungeon with just the healer, I had to give up.

Buggy mess, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls and light on story, but being able to tie a bunch of soldiers to a F1-car and dragging them along the mountain passes before exiting the vehicle as you send it over the cliff, makes up for a lot.

Cinematic, but shallow, like most of Clancy's garbage. Fun at a discount tho.
