good game, good fun.

killing floor 3 feels like the previous iterations, the zeds look more traditionally scary but less stylized, over all a improvment but feels like it's missing a bit.
gunplay is much better, gun customization is a huge plus, but fewer weapons overall. i wasnt around for the early days of the other games so i dont know how many weapons were added over time, the change of how perks work however. allows you to pick from the whole pool of weapons without "cheating" on you chosen perk so once you wrap your head around that it removes that feeling of too few weapons
3 new bosses 8 new maps 0 returning bosses or maps take that as you will
battle pass: its there, but it's my second favorite type, it gives you your credits back by doing the pass, and with daily and weekly challenges it flies by faster than something like COD's pass
over all the game is what it's always been, a solid AA-B game that you can chill with your homies with, it has a lot of potential and i cant wait for the future

it's monster hunter, you either like it or you dont. if youre currious about the game and genre go grab world for cheap and give it a try, or get this and try it, it's really fun but it can be pricey to get newer games.

all the drama about performance is a literal joke, i play on maxed out settings and max raytracing at 1080p on what i'd consider a mid to high end computer (see spec below) and i get roughly 80fps in open areas that drop to somewhere around 40 in more condensed areas like base camp and villages. to a few people that's unacceptable but for the majority of gamers, this should be fine and barely noticeable. maybe every once and a while like almost a hou apart theres a hiccup for me where i stutter but otherwise im pretty smooth. people just need to know what their system can handle and adjust settings accordingly.

difficulty discussion is also a joke, it's slightly easier because players have more means to stun and counter monsters, rewarding players for knowing how to play the game instead of just bashing their head against a monster untill it falls over. this results in faster clears and a perceived ease of gamepley when youre skilled in the game.

my rig:
rtx 4070 super 12gb
ryzen 7 5700g
16gb of ram
2tb nvme

Early Access Review
great game for friends to mess with each other. has a great framework but lacks content diversity. the devs have said that theyre working on adding more challenges and they seem fairly committed so im excited to see where this thing goes

Ive only beaten relanna and the sacred beast lion thing but so far a excellent addition.

The new armor and weapons filled the hole i had with the base game, the armor sets were cool and all abut i like the ones in the dlc more. i'd go into weather the stats are worth the looks but i really dont care, ill wear what i like regardless

New weapons are awesome i especially love the perfuming bottles they arent the most meta but they pair well as supplementary to other weapons as PURE damage types instead of split between physical and elemental. the other new weapons open new playstyles that perviously were either tedious or impossible and that's cool

bosses are tough but doable, ive done very few side dungeons and while i am struggling i know it's because i havnt upgraded my scadu blessing enough, im sitting on level 4 as of writing

and that's about all i have to say, it's good, get it. be aware that it's like starting a new journey, your level 200+ character is just a wee babe in the land of shadow and you will need to pick up all the tricks the base game tries to teach you to succeed

a excellent game engine for most games, readily accessible through steam.

Highly recommended, it's a breath of fresh air from the shooter dominated industry that oozes style and fun.

this game is aggressively mediocre, until world tiers and end game then it's rather fun especially with friends. the roles that specials and signature weapons make up are really fun to play out and i cant wait to play the raids.

as for the crashes everyone talks about, yes they exist. when you first start out theyre nonexistent but around level 15 they show up, it looks like a memory (ram) issue so try to minimize usage of that when you play. i usually crash 2-3 times within 5 mins usually when i spawn a bunch of enemies in for a mission at the start of my session but then im good for 12 hour sessions without a crash. so yeah it's annoying but i dont think it's that big of a issue.
