This game sucks. It's sense of direction is awful, most of the time you have no idea what you are meant to do or where you are meant to go. The movement is abhorrent, it is so painfully slow that it renders the game unplayable. Just play a Metal Gear game and move on with your life.

Not very fun. Mainly just fetch quests that do nothing but waste time. Throughout most of the game I just felt like I just wanted it to be over sooner. Stylistically, its good, don't get me wrong, but its just sooooo boring to sit through. Honestly, just watch the cutscenes on youtube or something and don't bother with the game. Also, the game crashes pretty often, so I felt pressured to save after every little thing so I didn't lose progress. Though honestly, I was almost thankful whenever the game crashed, because then I can stop playing and do something better with my time.

I loved this game. Though, at the time of writing this, I have only beaten the first story. It tells an interesting story and has great gameplay to boot. I would definitely suggest playing this game at night with the lights turned off.

IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE:
The game has issues booting up in a lot of cases. If the game crashes before you get to the title screen, do this:

- Go to the game's settings in Steam and download the beta (it should be titled "Resident Evil 2 [dx11_non-rt|)

- Boot up the game. If it doesn't work still, go into the files and open both "re2_config.ini" and "re2_config_default.ini" with notepad or another text editing software.

- In both files, replace any instance of "DirectX12" to "DirectX11" BUT keep the line that says "Capability" to whatever it was by default.

Hard, yet rewarding. This game is like climbing a mountain, both literally and figuratively. The story can be a bit corny at times, but is otherwise great. I highly recommend.

This game has a HUGE problem with crashing. Like, an ungodly amount. It doesn't even seem to be graphics settings related, as putting the game on lower qualities improves performance when it does work, but it still crashes on certain events. The game is one of the best games I have ever played, so I recommend it, but you have to hope the game lets you play it, so to speak. Also, SAVE CONSTANTLY.
