i personally didn't have any performance issues - which is a miracle in itself considering how old my system is - but i do hope that they at least try to patch some of the issues people are describing, tho i won't hold my breath on that

overall i had a great time with this expansion

refunded starfield and bought kuro no kiseki instead, good game and a very solid start into the 2nd half of the kiseki storyline

one of the things that amaze me the most about elden ring is that, despite all the hype around it, fromsoft still managed to exceed expectations, which is almost unheard of in gaming nowadays

edit: apparently some people still have performance issues, sure would be nice if they patched that this many months after release

the alpha showed some potential, despite being very rough around the edges

then the guy disappears for half a decade and then comes out with this beta where literally everything is worse, and then abandons it again

what a rollercoaster

Edit: apparently he's making another new version again that's more like the alpha, at this point i have zero faith in the guy to deliver even just an okay-ish product

What a good story, damn

I'm glad Yoko Taro managed to get sqenix drunk enough one night to make them give him a budget, because wow this game is fantastic

lag makes it unplayable, will have to wait for a patch, ffs avalanche

edit: playable with better hardware and fun as ♥♥♥♥

Bought the game in early 2012 (thanks to KurtJMac), was awesome back then and it's only gotten better, tho I miss the good old days of landing on the Mun without landing struts (jk, wings were a pain to land on)

Long story short: Best space program sim ever, long live Jebediah Kerman

Making your own game is hella fun BUT(!) you need a lot of patience to first learn to make stuff and then to actually make stuff :P

You can a lot done with just the rtp stuff, but I still recommend getting either some of the DLCs or free stuff from the internet (yay for Granny's lists), and some advanced scripts (like Yanfly Engine, it's great and free)

Events are easily makeable as well, but if you want some pro-tier events you'll need to know Ruby for scripting (I don't)
