I adore this game quite a lot, its very charming and pretty brutal.
The overall theme is a depressing, unforgiving and lethal world but it does try to be a bit hopeful.
Pretty much you have to manage your facility as you gain more and more creatures to contain and you will need to trial by fire each one and you will 100% take casualties and later your entire facility will more often than not be in peril and RNG of which ones you get, with what, where and when can determine just how bad things really can get and let me tell you if your unlucky and still lacking strong E.G.O.(its the name of the gear, the name makes sense later) it can get BAD. Like my current facility is filled with things that can and will breach off each-other.

Its actually has a big rouge-like element where you can reset to certain imprints or even the first day and keep your gear and research/upgrades (employees however are reverted/lost so screenshot the ones you like so you can recreate them)

From a few waifus to mostly freaks of nature, this game probably has quite a few of anomalies that may catch your eye in interest.
Certain combinations of abnormalities can ♥♥♥♥ you really hard your 'first play-through' forcing you to reset early but i'm in my 1st 'reset to first day' play-through while running a "no death" policy where I will reset no matter who/how my agents (The controllable ones) die (This is way harder and way longer than just letting them die tbh) and I currently have a pretty freaking difficult facility and i'm still doing "just fine" so with a will there is a way but don't be afraid to reset it back to the first day(try to get as much gear as you can before that) as it can and WILL get much harder.

You will get pretty funny and unique EGOs like a powerful WAW sniper rifle that the agent wielding should be alone 24/7(kinda fitting) as he will shoot through everything in the room including the red paste across the floor of the poor squad that you accidentally grouped him with.(also fitting)

It does have some mods on the nexus and are pretty easy to install, and you can create your own character features like hair for example though a little annoying it seems.
Biggest complaint probably is performance as it.. runs really weird is the best way to describe it even with a performance mod.

So I think it personally sits at a 8.4/10


One last thing future run saving tip regarding the functions of a certain anomaly:
You may get an anomaly that is a red button DO NOT press it out the gate, don't think about it instead make sure to get its 'observation' via clicking on its 'details' tab a lot in 'deployment' first, but if you plan to see what it does face first I recommend taking all your gear off as that thing saves the game after you spam press it(not sure if its intentional either) as it grants its 'observation' which forces a save meaning all that gear your employees were wearing? Gone, no reset will fix it(It might be "safe" to press after getting its observation?). Spoiler you say? Very small but you would thank me for saving your gear. It does have cool effcts though and technically you can use its "save feature" beneficially.
Yea I spammed clicked it my first time I regret it, wasn't the worst problem(I didn't have hard to get event gear at the time) but holy ♥♥♥♥ it was annoying

It is a tad time consuming to get 100% Upgrades and research.
Additionally this game has a sequel.

5/9/20: The games translation has been updated and so will this just a bit,
originally I wrote that the translation was.. eh not the greatest but now its pretty good, and I have even increased the rating by .4 although a little of the charm is gone due to the removal of the alien but poetic like writing but it still a good story.
