I guess they werent watching what happened with Helldivers 2, because they did the exact same thing as what nearly killed HD2.
What is the purpose of nerfing good and fun player equipment and severely increasing enemy spawns and lethality, in a power fantasy PVE game.

I used to play on Difficulty 4 no problem, but after the latest update im struggling to finish a difficulty 3 mission with full yellow gear.

I really hope they walk back these changes and dont keep digging deeper, because as it stands, i wont be touching this game again.

Abandoned OW 1 to develop this games Single player.
Release this without single player and with missing OW1 features.
Made monetization and balance much worse.
Just kinda ♥♥♥♥

Unique game with an interesting story

fantastic game. packed with content to the brim, to the point where i was amazed how much there actually is to discorver.
also. no greedy microtransactions

Like The Forest when it first released in EA this game shows some good features, however is lacking in many others usually associated with survival games and even present in the previous game. The new building mechanic leaves more customization but is much more tedious, additionally this game has significantly less buildables than the last game. The balancing of the various weapons is all over the place as well as the amount of ammo you receive. The starting bow with flint arrows has insane dropoff after only around 10 meters and you can only carry 15 arrows of each type at a time. The Pistol is severly limited in ammo with ammoboxes containing 3 bullets each, however it requires over 15 bullets to kill a single stronger enemy. On the other side of the spectrum youve got the shotgun which gets mroe ammo and pretty much oneshots 95% of the enemies in this game. There is no watercontent to speak off, as well as no fish or ducks, etc in any pond or lake, features present in the previous game.
Im hoping this game gets significantly better with years of development, like the previous game did, but the lack of so much content which existed in "The Forest" is incredibly disappointing. There isnt even a way to quickly swap gear or weapons with quickslots, you have to pull out your backpack and click on the gear you want equipped. This however does not pause the game and leavs you very vulnerable.

Conclusion: Dont buy this game in its current state

incredibly bland and boring gameplay.
The movement tries to be fast and agile but its just kinda poorly done.
The gunplay is quite bad.
All but the most basic grunts are annoying bulletsponges.
The storytelling and voicelines are super obvious and stilted

Amazing game

Finally i can tell my colonists to just suck it up and eat the nutrient paste without them murdering each other.
10/10 fantastic DLC.

good game but the devs are deaf to community feedback and with every balancing patch it is more evident that they dont play their own game. Also, the game is an unbearable grindfest. and not the good kind like warframe

Update: the devs have taken it even further now. Instead of listening to community feedback they have actively punished a streamer, for calling out the lead designer on not knowing how skill is measured in this game, by taking away his twitch cosmetics in-game.
This shows such unrivaled pettines that it makes me believe that they actually know how to properly balance the game but dont do it just to be petty towards everyone complaining about game balance.
