ASSET FLIP, IGNORE OR BUY AND THEN REFUND

If you like achievements, good news for you, only 6 (frustratingly dumb) levels, you can get all the achievements in as little as a few minutes!

The developer clearly does not care about video games, he just wants to make a quick buck.

These are assets found off of the Unity store, by two different makers, and the game is in Unity, what more do I need to say about this?

The game consists of 3 sounds and one music track, that's all there is, so if you came for spectacular music, leave. And did I mention that they're using royalty free music and sounds?

Amazingly, the game takes only a few minutes to complete (*shocker*), so if you want to obtain all 4999 (notice I didn't say 5000) achievements, it'll only take you a few minutes to do so. He's not trying to hide the fact that it's barebones or an asset flip, so sad to see gaming consisting of titles like this. What's even more sad is that he actually hard-advertises one of his game, you stare at the poster of his game and you win. That's it.

Also, about the last achievement, you can't get it. Completed the game 3 times (while I was waiting for the time limit to go) and you straight up just can't get it.

Foxhole is an absolute blast and a gem, teamwork is what is needed in this little game.

tl;dr: If you like to work for a war or to fight at the front lines, this is the game for you. Destroy the enemies will and overtake towns and their supplies. Plenty of things for everyone to do, whether you want to sit behind and scrap or fight.

Many games have tried to pit you with a team to win a game, but not at the cost this game has. This game is persistent, meaning all of your comrades and you need to be constantly working, days on even, to win a war or to even defend a town. The logistics portion is what really gets me, and it's executed perfectly.

Some towns may not have factories for refining materials, upgraded gun factories, health buildings, or vehicle factories, meaning you need to constantly be moving around, memorizing the map. Drivers can do two things, deliver materials/goods, or drive men directly to the front lines; I'll get into that later. Drivers and anyone who gathers materials directly help shape the war, they provide the front lines with shirts (for respawns), ammunition, guns, medical supplies, and more. No scrapper is useless, every bmat you make can be used for something, and so can supplies.

Defenses are one of the more fun aspects of the game, they have a wide variety of things you can use to build your safe-haven (hopefully lots more to come though). You have the basic walls and gates, which serve to protect from outside fire, and then you have turrets, foxholes, radio towers (which can provide you radius information), howlitzers, and more. There are also construction vehicles (cv) which can fix up abandoned buildings for protection or "shade" or fix up a town hall for you to claim.

The game is a PERSISTANT online war, many servers are available, that being said, there are a LOT of enemies wanting to take over your towns. The men responsible for this, the soldiers at the front-line, are the same people who raid towns, bases, and supress enemy fire. The combat aspect is one of the most fun things about the game (though I mainly am there for medical care), you NEED people to guard towns, gates, and people to scout the area (usually a radiotower will help). Soldiers can defend off invaders while you're trying to patch up walls, turrets, trucks, anything, making them invaluable. There are plenty of things they can use to fight off an enemy, such as grenades (2 kinds), SMGs, half-trucks, tanks, mortars, RPGs, plenty of more.

Since this game mainly revolves around teamwork, you will find many people with mics, and they're always nice, never before have I met such a great community. They're willing to teach you the basics (but please, look at the tutorial, it's only 6 minutes) and they'll be telling you what supplies are needed or where soldiers are needed and if you can help with anything.

I've taken the initiative in plenty of games to help out a situation by issuing orders (and believe me, you WILL need a strategist), defending off only 1 city whilst the enemies outnumbered us by far and claimed every town. If you are a strategist, you will issue orders that may or may not kill your comrades, and it is YOUR duty to make sure your orders don't allow that to happen, precious resources and men. Establish a secret route to another city should you be backed into a corner, issue wall orders placed at certain coordinates, but please do not only issue orders, you are a soldier as well.

Asset flip, absolutely scummy, steer clear.

The game itself will NEVER be completed, this is apparent even in the EA information section.

Honestly, the only reason to ever buy this game is for the achievements, and the developers knows this and is taking advantage of this (from games like Zup). The developer has taken into liberty, his own game, so he gave it a perfect 10/10.

Keep in mind that ALL of the achievements are "You played for 1 second!", and that there are 12322 of these achievements (yep, literally all of them are this). To translate, you'd have to idle in game for almost 3 and a half hours.

Another game using the same exact scripts and assets goes through fire and ice to clear up the assets:

http://steamproxy.net/steamstore/app/601280/Village_Story/

"Now we will be afraid to completely finish the game"

Hard to finish or even work on a game when you don't understand anything about it, huh?

Thank you SidAlpha for your Asset Flipper episode:

(and thank you Mutan1988 for warning players on the forum)

As a bonus, I'll let you know that, even if you did try to play, the game will freeze at times and sometimes just not respond, so you have to idle.

Looks like Clonazeman got a little mad over this review (:

Whether I would recommend it or not depends on the player and what updates it will store for the future

I'm being completely honest when I say that it IS repetitive, as others have already stated, which should be obvious in a game like this, but there are issues with that for me and many others; everything is exactly the same, there's no diversity in plants, rocks, trees, planets, etc. For example, I started a new game off on a desolate, orange, acidic planet, then decided to start another game, same planet except for very few distinctions, almost uncanny.

The game is nice to play, but it could be so much better, hell, if they added variations every week for rocks, plants, trees, and everything, it would make it much more worthwhile, as that's what the game really lacks. The landscapes of planets are breathtaking no matter what jack-hole you're stuck on, it gives you a sense of depth. My only problem with the game's depth is that it doesn't take advantage of it, it sort of just shoves you in and says "hey, look, lots of planets for you to explore!".

My MAIN annoyance with the game.... is the fact that you ALWAYS find life. I remember hearing that NMS would hold only 3% of life, which I was excited for, as I wanted to feel ALONE in space, but that's not something I'm able to do. Each planets is riddled with creatures, bases, and monoliths, making each one of them decrease in value.

I've already streamed both seasons of Nanbaka on Crunchyroll (sad that we won't see a season 3 until January or so), and I have found it both humerous and exciting. Season 1 may put people off, and for some, it may be season 2, though now it's starting to show its true colors (I've read the web comic long before its release).

Season 1 focuses more on comedy, whereas season 2 focused more on Jyugos and their past (1 of the 4 main characters, though he's the 'true' protagonist). Season 2 is probably the better of the two seasons, it maintains its humor aspect while something serious is happening (ie: Jyugo in the tournament, where he reveals the power of his 'chains'/cuffs). It's moreso fun to watch because each of the characters are relateable to a a degree, some may relate to you completely, and it's hard NOT to like Hajime, the overpowered guard that no one wants to fight (except for Gokuu).

Overall, I'd say it's a good series deserving of your attention, at the least you should watch a few episodes while the series is on sale (or Stream it via Crunchyroll/VRV)

I see potential for this game, I really do, and I hope to see it grow. (specs below)

Because it's Early Access, bugs and glitches are expected, but with a horror game, it's hard to tell what's a glitch and what's not. There are invisible 'boxes' everywhere, which can be pretty annoying, especially when trying to navigate small corridors. I've seen a few sentences flicker on and off (like "Pathetic)". I've also noticed that going further down turns off my Steam Overlay, but that may or may not be a problem on my own part. (I don't know if this is a problem on my part, again, or not, but changing graphics option does not have any visual changes whatsoever for me, in frame-rate or visual property)

As for the game, I'd say this is a hit-or-miss, the developer pointed out that it was looking to be more of a rogue-like, which is totally fine, but in exchange for that, I felt it lost some of it's atmpshere. You navigate around as a free-body like in lots of Unity games (but that may have just killed the mood for me, you never know). The first kid/baby you see, if you get too close, will attack you in a rush, but really just sits there, so if you keep your distance, you're good.

Sometimes navigating all of the keys can be a chore, especially since the checkpoint is waaaay back, but the developer said that this would be fixed within the next update, which I look forward to. The scenery is pretty cool to look at, gives you a feeling of depth.

I would like to see some changes, though.

~ There are MANY empty rooms, and the stuff is mostly either empty or the same as the others, I personally don't have too much of a problem with this, but others may (I know, adding stuff may take a little while, it's EA)

~ More of a variety of key locations, you basically just have to go back and see if it's in that same room as before, if not, it's in the other one

~ Less amount of 'loading' screens. I don't know if this is for both HDDs and SSDs, but my SSD usually takes a wait time of around 3 seconds (further down)

~ Readable books? You see lots of books on the stands, it'd be nice to engage in some of them, tell us a story.

I run this game at an average of ~60fps, with the occassional stutter to 36 frames (not much, but it happens) (highest settings, but all settings are the same for me)
