- Good music
- Awesome boss fights (Just don't upgrade too much or it becomes boring)
- Skill tree abilities are cool and fun to use

- Game becomes very bland and boring after a short while
- Open world bosses quickly become annoying and repetitive and lose their uniqueness as you progress
- The game is essentially a collectible gathering game once you finish the story that can be completed in less than 24 hours
- The last boss fight is a mini-game...

As much as I wouldn't mind this kind of game it lacks in certain aspects. If your'e the kind of person who likes there commander being the main and most important unit than you might be satisfied, but if you were expecting each faction to play in their own unique way then you will be disappointed. The only uniqueness between races is their commanders and their abilities, other than that every faction plays exactly the same.

If you like fire emblem type game play without that percent chance to hit you might really like this game, but if you were hoping for florans, humans, undead, and dwarves to fight differently they do not. The only thing that matters is the commanders and how you form up your units.

That being said it is by no means a bad game, but i can't recommend something i do not personally enjoy.

This game and all it's DLC is worth getting. It seems so simple. It's just a nice game in general to sit back and play in your free time. I've spent so many hours in the game (900+) and I still won't stop playing. It's definitely something worth getting if you like simulation or civilization building games.
