I played the Original ME Trilogy three years ago and immediately fell in love with this universe.
I'd go so far as to describe it as the gold standard of RPGs.

The Legendary Edition takes everything great about Mass Effect, shoves it into one package, irons out the bumps, gives especially ME1 a very noticeable boost in graphics, and adds some quality of life stuff.

There's never been a better way to experience Mass Effect for the first time or otherwise.

I do recommend using some mods though, especially "Starchild-Be-Gone" and ones that make scanning/probing less tedious.

I got Cyberpunk right after launch but didn’t actually play until Patch 1.2 rolled out.

Now that I’ve finished it (all main and side jobs + gigs), I must say I love this game and it has blown me away.
It’s the kind of thing that makes me wish I could wipe my memory, just to experience it again for the first time.

The story is thrilling, the characters are loveable and interesting, and the world, oh my, the world is breathtaking.

The graphics may be the best I’ve ever seen.
I recommend trying raytracing if you have the specs for it, but the game still looks amazing without.

Night City is everything I hoped it would be and more.
It’s not the biggest world ever, but it’s packed full of things that make it interesting, so it certainly doesn’t feel small.
Every district has its own unique charm, be it in terms of its architecture, characters, lore, etc.
So there is plenty of material for screenshots.

As you might expect from an RPG, you get to make choices that affect the rest of the game, so there are multiple endings to choose from, love interests, who lives, who dies, etc. - all that good stuff.

The gameplay is pretty good too. You can play stealthy or guns blazing, be a hacker, a ninja, whatever you choose.
Especially the quick-hacking mechanic is surprisingly fun to use and well integrated, even when you’re not being stealthy.
Guns, melee weapons, armour, skill trees, crafting, gear modding, etc. - liked all that as well.
Vehicles I wish we could customise, but nonetheless are beautifully designed and I did enjoy driving them.

There are some other things that are lacking, such as, a walk button, holstering with one tap, and the option to change your appearance after character creation. However, there are mods that add those features so I guess it works out.
Still, it’d be nice to see them integrated natively.

While there was a ton of bad press and feedback at launch, you can rest assured now that Cyberpunk is no longer full of bugs and other technical issues that make it unplayable.
There are still some minor things that can be improved a bit, but they are quite bearable.

Anyway, long story short: Cyberpunk 2077 is absolutely worth picking up (as of April 2021 and onward).
It’s among the best games I’ve ever played and I hope CDPR will make further instalments.
