I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm pretty sure I'm having fun

I've been playing this game on and off for many years, and its great to finally see it officially in release. This is a great game to play solo, and made even better with friends. Easily one of the best zombie based survival games on the market. If it is on sale, grab it, and treat yourself to an awesome experience.

Only 9 hours in but I know I could easily see 900 hours sometime in the future

PvE Tarkov is great because bush wookies are a real mood killer

Publisher doing what publishers do best and shooting themselves and the developers in the foot. Playstation/Sony are fools for this, and I have nothing but love for the devs, I understand their hands are probably tied with this change, but I am NOT going to be forced to make an account I don't need to play this game for some bogus security reason.

Its been fun, but until this changes, this is the last time I touch this game.

I will have hard time trusting anything in association with Sony or Playstation ever again because of this.

Edit 5/6/24 - They walked it back, but this doesn't mean we've won the war. Publishers and corporations like Sony/Playstation will always push questionable changes and if we don't continue to push back when we need to like we did these last few days, it will not matter. Not every change is bad, but when there's the lie of security and we call it out the way we did, we let them know that they can't keep getting away with things like this. Good work Divers, Sweet Liberty lives once more, but we must remain ever vigilant.

Edit 5/10/24 - Many countries are still blocked from playing, and that's not okay. Reverting back to negative in solidarity because we cannot be content with half measures and Sony the publisher needs to make this right.

This scratches that "Tarkov Itch" I've had for so long, and I can for the most part relax and enjoy the experience without feeling the need to be super sweaty or worry about hackers taking me out of the game immediately. Early release means early access troubles, but so far it runs great, the mechanics are predominately smooth and work well, and I'm a happy camper milling about enjoying my looter shooter experience.

I was able to get some of the guys in discord together to make a lobby and play this game. Its awesome and definitely a lot of fun, but rough around the edges. I hope the devs come out with more updates.
