Crashes way too often for AAA game. If they are having difficulty bringing this game over to multiple launchers, they should just stick to one and perfect it. Unfortunately too late to refund, so do a thing for me and don't buy this game until they fix this. I've never had to verify the integrity of game files this frequently with any other steam purchase.

And there's so much more to my story so far, this game is absolutely stunning and amazing and so alive, the world is constantly changing and shifting and I'm loving every moment of it.

I do not care for car/racing games in general, but this game is simply awesome and fun to play.

I was holding off on buying this for many reasons, but a friend got it for me so he and I could play, and essentially this proved my reasoning for holding back.

This early access is a beta test in disguise. There is so many points of balancing that needs to be considered, from the SMGs to the Hovercrafts. Various bugs and glitches make crucial split second moments infuriating to play around (ie can't place turret, gun won't shoot, etc)

Save your money, wait awhile for things to be patched (if that'll happen) and wait about a month or two after official release. Otherwise, you're subjecting yourself to a lot of just awful shenanigans that aren't worth the price tag.

This is so far, as of writing this review, the closest thing to Tarkov you're going to find on Steam.

Pros
- Fairly large map that expands with updates (we'll see once we get that next big update)
- Decent variety of weapons
- Beautiful environment
- Gunplay isn't too bad

Cons
- Walking simulator
- Not a lot of customization with guns (attachments, etc)
- Bots will either by abysmal with their aim or put you down with god tier aimbot hax
- Player structures can be placed strategically to make it VERY unfun for new players/respawning
- The map is large and seemingly desolate - I understand this is somewhat post apocalyptic, but there definitely is a sense of monotony at a certain point
- Updates take awhile, so new content will be quickly devoured and run through before new content is available which requires a level of patience from the community

Overall I've enjoyed my time with Deadside and plan on continuing to play with friends, but I got a good 10 hours of play before I hit that wall of "Well... that was fun, but what else is there?"

I'm confident in the developers being able to release meaningful content, but something needs to change to not only get new players in but keep them there.
