Exactly what I hoped it would be

This game is so weird, yet extremely hard to put down. It reminds me of renting a random PS2 game -- but I mean that in the absolute best way possible. Really a unique, worthwhile game. Did I mention how weird it was?

I have played every VSurvivors / twin-stick shooter ever made -- and this might actually be the best.

Much better than I was expecting. The music is great. There's lots of weapons and you can upgrade them. The overall presentation and story is charmingly straightforward, but it fits the game perfectly, and is obviously intentional.

It's kind of like a Doom 2016 bullet hell in terms of feel and motivation -- you gain energy for your gun by meleeing enemies and bullets. So it encourages you to play like.... you're in a heavy metal bullet hell game; which I'm pretty sure was their mission statement.

This game is so much more than it appears to be

Vampire Survivors + Diablo + Hades
