played 4 casual games as a new player

3 of them got griefed instantly lmfao

how do you expect people to want to play this game with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spamming mics and 3 stacks taking turn killing you for no reason besides being new. I can only imagine it gets much more cancerous in ranked lmfao what a ♥♥♥♥ community

concept and game itself is very fun but the camera is god awful

weird dead angles and zooming in highly depends on your camera angle against the ground. looking down 90 degrees zooms all the way out and looking straight ahead 180/0 degrees zooms all the way in. indoors you will notice camera problems instantly. also theres a big jump from first person pov and the lowest zoom you can have.

game is 8.5/10 but camera movement/settings is 4/10 good god

actually pretty good alternative to arpgs when there's no updates/seasons going on, def going into the seasonal rotation

The gacha isn't really much of a problem imo unless you're one of those racing players going for world first or some ♥♥♥♥.
I played a ring of ice autobomber as my very first character and got to farming 8.2 comfortably without many deaths. I got one of the three spell casting pets from my free spins for a guarantee legendary pet and after 7 days you get to choose any legendary loot drop pet. I also didn't buy the season pass so lacking auto pickup wasn't much of a problem either, most of the time I'm spamming pickup nearby items anyways and since it vacuums up similar items nearby, the pickup range is pretty good too considering i'm blasting maps without backtracking for loot.

Only bad things I really see is that f2p only has 9 slots or 1 page in their auction house to sell things while season pass holders get like 3/4 pages? You can buy the slots individually but they all only remain for the season you buy them in. All other stuff like stash space and inventory space increases remain.

And yes you can just throw money at the game for good pets to carry you but my point is that as a brand new player, following a guide minimally just for the autobomb mechanics, it's possible for me to clear the game and touch some of the endgame. I guess in POE terms I got to T16 maps, killed pinnacle bosses, some T17s and didn't touch the ubers.

dunno why this is mixed reviews. plays well in the first 2 hrs i played so far pretty much same performance as the base game but opening a new exe to play the campaign is pretty jarring but game still works.

people complaining about forced coop only didn't even click on the coop button and try to start a game. they literally list the world record times for solos/teams for every mission. ofc you can play solo the ♥♥♥♥ you complaining about?

how are people complaining about the difficulty of normal mode lmfao
ive only died maybe 2 times (definitely 1) to instakills within 11 hrs

also when you die you literally get deathbox you can open for a full loadout to go again: full clothing, a pistol, stack of 9mm, and some meds

21 hr edit: escort missions are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible, no way of healing them so their 85 hp might aswell just be 0 if they take a single status effect. learning how and when to use stances are pretty important, same as inspecting every enemy to see what they have. the difficulty is good but needs some balance to some aspects (just bs not difficulty). looking forward to the 1.0 release of this game, i can already see it being good
also the game lets you configure the difficulty of the game similar to project zomboid but not to their level of customization.

double edit: ♥♥♥♥ you escort mission, even making the subject stand still in a "safe room" doesn't stop enemies from wandering into the room and killing him. this mission is simply not balanced and there is no possible counterplay from the player like using meds on them.

but tbh C.A.S.T is the worst possible name for a game, it's borderline impossible to find discussion or info on gameplay/wiki for this game
