This game is great and a good simulation of Warfare during WW2.
Communication and Teamplay is essantial. You need to use the voice chat, otherwise you will be lost.
If you dont communicate, you wont have fun playing the game and your squad wont have fun playing with you.

The community is very friendly in general, almost everybody will help you, to have a good start into the game, if you are new.
If you want to test game mechanics like driving tanks or shooting artillery, i recommend training it on empty servers with your friends or reading guides on how to do it, because if you do it the "learning by doint method" you ill either end up getting kicked for driving a tank solo or shooting your own teammates with the artillery.
Speaking of killing teammates... Please change the visibility distance for teammarkers to 500m, it makes it a lot easier, to not shoot your teammates, if they are far away and you cant really tell, if there is a friendly or enemy head peeking over the wall. It would be great, if the developers change this option to default, but for now, you gotta do it yourself.

Joining Servers can be very hard, since there is no server queue yet. (I hope, the devs will add this feature soon)
I recommend on joining Servers with ~80-95 people. This servers will always end up reaching the limit of 100 players, after you joined in and most of the time these are the servers, where a match just started. If you manage to join a server with 98-99 players on it, you will most likely join a game, which is already almost over.

If you adopt my tips, i can guarantee you a whole lot of fun, playing this masterpiece of a tactical shooter.
