The story is fast paced, with some great twists and characters. The farm is kept to a minimum. The exploration is very pleasant. The end game is based on set up to deal massive damages, which is really enjoyable. Some bosses may be tricky. The 100% is not painful, I was never bored while playing. On the down side, not much, some secondary flavourless characters and the crystal system (gems enhancing gear).I strongly recommend this game, one of my favourite from the couple past years.

An awesome short game.

With some easy to handle mechanics, there is in this game a global sensation of freedom.
A well balanced open world, some quest, some collectable, all these mechanics we expect from a "modern ope wold" but here it's well balanced and well crafted. I'm not fan of open worlds, but i liked this one.
Dialogue are often comic, light and caricatural.

In some place the camera angle is meh, and the game can be finished is a couple of hour, but I can only recommend playing it.

A small but stunning masterpiece, a calm game with an emphasis on feelings and arts more than gameplay.

2021 GOTY contender

A cosy music, a nice and simple gameplay, can be moderately hard depending on your chosen weapon.

Haven is first a story before being a game.

The game part is based on free exploration, very delightful because you are gliding at high speed on the grass and in the air. This exploration is well rewarded by dialogs or unique items.
Then comes combats, which are not difficult and are based on cooperation, protecting each other and launching combined attacks. It's well done, but not everybody will like it.

I loved the story, for all the details put in the game about the characters, for both characters trying to be strong and support each other, for all the discussions between them (and there are a lot of them). We are living their daily life, simply and shamelessly. We are seeing them fight, cry, laugh, flirt... I loved the humour in some cutscenes, the fact that in most of dialogs we have to choose if the characters feel confident or not. This is well written and well realised.

We have here a lovely couple, with brilliant colours, beautiful soundtrack and a nice romantic and personal story. Cherry on the top, the voice acting is perfect!

On the bad side, I think the game need an anti-aliasing, because the 3D view is not verry pretty and detailed. This is invisible while moving and exploring, but not at all when we are immobile for a dialog. Thankfully, while in dialog, beautiful 2D sprites of Yu and Kay are in the foreground, and after a couple hour, we forget the less detailed 3D model to focus on the 2D characters.

I had an incredible good time playing Haven, and I think I will do it again, it's calm, reposing, relaxing, intimate and peaceful. You want to play it slowly and not miss any dialog, interaction, detail the game is made of.

What else can I say? Except if you seek a nervous, active solo game like Furi, I think this game may pleased you.

A new masterpiece in the world of puzzle games !
Well balanced, difficult but not too hard, the game is based on time manipulation, and does it well.

Highly recommended if you like puzzle games !

A nice management game with a great and touching story.
Some farming but not too much, some side quests but not too much.
Not a masterpiece but definitely a game I enjoyed a lot!
