Extremely boring. I couldn't care less about the politics of warring kingdoms. The best JRPGs are the ones who focus on the character stories, not the ones that open up with info dumps giving you a history lesson. Show, don't tell. Lord Farquad of Forever Kingdom, with capital Town Cherryport was once at war with Lady Valyria of the Jade Empire which was aided by the knights of the Silver Tortoise.........................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Combat didn't seem interesting enough to make up for it. Overdrive system seemed like an awful arbitrary way to force you to make moves that you don't want to make just to play a mini-game with the gauge
