Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but...
Load times in multiplayer are wayyy too long.
Shark cards (MTX) are overpriced for what they offer.
Things in-game cost far too much compared to how much you have to do to earn them.
The playerbase has within it the most annoying people imaginable, who abuse overpowered game features like the Oppressor, Orbital Cannon, and whatever else they use... but thankfully there is a way around that (passive mode, which essentially turns pvp off for you and disables all your weapons).

HOWEVER;
If you want to casually play at the casino or drive in non-contact races, or hang out with your friends, this game is great. The only way I can play this game for more than 15 minutes is with a party, it's a great party game.
You've got races, deathmatches, missions, multi-part heists, Rockstar-verified player created content, and player created playlists that can include a multitude of gamemodes. This is an absolute banger party game, but for me personally, it sucks to play alone.

I've got a lot of problems with the game and the only thing that saves it for me, like many other games, is the people I play it with. If it's $10 and you've never played it, go ahead, but don't pay full price, and don't count on falling in love with playing it by yourself.

I went into this game without reading any guides and having as little information as possible before going into it. That decision was one of the best I've made gaming-wise in the past year. Everything was new, the Alien dialect was completely unexpected, the puzzles of communicating to a different species were where the thrill was. The amazement came from the massive variety of the 50+ worlds I've been to so far. The down side of playing on launch-day was having really bad fps drops sometimes when loading in high-density vegetation ares. I crashed 2 times, however, the frequent saving when exiting your ship made it much less frustrating than what I'm used to with game crashes.

Pro's:
pretty
tons of variety in the world generation
easy to understand materials and crafting scheme
communication and culture puzzles
choose-your-own-adventure (multiple play-paths)
frequent auto-saves
low disk memory usage
___________
Con's:
fps drops (frequent)
crashes (rare)
___________
I hope there are some dope dlc's like recruiting warriors from the different factions, multiplayer (requiring warp drive/black hole to teleport to players?).

7/10 will play to completion
