Oh hey Destiny 2 is coming to steam guess i'll try it because it's free, wow it's actually kinda fun i really like Cade, Rasputin, planets like mars and titan i really hope these are all things i can play in the future and interact with more!

-Cade dies.

Oh okay guess i still have the Warmind content and year 1 destinations i like.

-Bungie "sunsets" (removes): my favourite weapons, my favourite armour, my favourite destinations (Mars/Titan)

This kinda sucks but i guess i can deal with it for new content...

-Bungie "un-sunsets" my favourite weapons but i now have to grind some new dungeon to aquire them all again.

Sees new season based around Warmind content and gets the smallest amount of hope this might be really interesting so i buy in...

-the season turns out to just be an asset flip of previous expansions and the only thing i had left to be interested in is killed by bad writing.

-To top this all off Bungie removes my entire Class build (Warmind cells) in lightfall

TLDR I just paid money to have the privilege of literally watching my remaining interest in the game commit suicide... nah thanks think i'm done with Destiny 2- guess i'll just wait for the Destiny 1 Emulation to be completed and just try that instead.

Abandoned by developers already without even a steam news post, kinda to be expected, this is just worlds adrift all over again

Disclaimer: i played a lot of both flights so i have a lot more playtime than my review states

So far this is the worst Halo game i have ever played, i am disgusted by how many people are just posting 3 word positive reviews without playing it and so many people have written long winded negative reviews in detail better put then i ever could so i'll just post the main points i hate that others don't seem to have talked about too much.

-game seems to be lacking UK servers (i've heard AUS as well) meaning i get consistently higher ping than other games)
-extremely lacking customisation and unlocks as a free player (also no playable elites)
-no forge for 6 months is unacceptable IMO
-limited time unlocks linked to "weekly ultimate challenges"
-extremely lacking (and disappointing feeling) equipment variety compared to halo 3
-chaotic BTB (not in the good way) with incredibly dumb vehicle spawning system
-all weapons feel incredibly lacking in ammo capacity
-some guns lack aim assist for controller users in certain situations making them useless while kb/m players have no disadvantage
-vehicles are terribly balanced and have fairly wacky physics including a lot of desync/lag for me
-game is very buggy right now

So far i do not regret not getting my hopes up.

I will update this review if my opinion changes

gotta say i've had some fun with this game, but the terrible online buisness model, overall online quality and going against the (harmless) modders is a big no from me.

This review is rather long and ranty, skip to the end for a final score~

Fallout 4 Nuka World, the big ending and final content boom (not) for one of my favourite games of recent time.

Nuka world brings the player to an amazing worldspace that is well designed and themed with a decent amount of content for a £14.99 DLC (you wish)

This DLC starts on a good story point but badly implimented, i'm sure bethesda god fed up with everyone saying how fallout 4 has no true "Evil" option, so they made a whole DLC where you do just that and nothing else, if you try to go against the DLC's main story about being the best "overboss" there is and take back Nuka World for yourself and the people of the commonwealth then the game (metaphorically) slaps you across the face with a massive content drought, going against the raiders offers perhaps 5~ quests in the whole DLC and even after you deal with them the whole park just goes into a state of limbo, all the park areas are empty (you are unable to build settlements in them or colonise them with anyone but the raiders), the radio stays on the same few voice lines from before killing the raiders, and the few remaining now happy "traders" seem slightyly thankful but unwilling to smarten up (they don't even take off their slave clothes and shock collars), the traders love to tell you about how they'll "use the park for its intended purpose" but nothing happens... NOTHING AT ALL.

To sum it up so far the story of the DLC is complete butts, but you say "it all can't be that bad can it?"

To that I say fair play, there are some very commendable parts of the DLC mostly the world design is amazing, the scope and scale is breathtaking, the park looks and feels very much like real theme parks, I am greatly reminded of my childhood visits to DisneyWorld Orlando and Universal Studios, I suppose I should judge each world area individually below:

-Nuka Town USA- This area of the park is well layed out and has the most "story" related content but feels as though it has some large elements missing (post raider outing) i'd give it a rating of 7/10

-Galactic Zone- loved this area, so much unique content and lore, the design of the robots here are top notch, this area is let down by the fact that for me at least the robots do not respawn even after pacifying them with a fully repaired star control, this leaves the resulting park barren and lifeless, the working ride here is pretty good too, i'd rate it 8/10

-Safari Adventure- This park is well layed out and even gives off a slight jurassic park vibe with all the gator-claws and the cloning lab, the lore here is pretty good too, no usable rides though and combat here is extremely lacking due to the no creature variety (the only thing you will fight here is 24-ish gator-claws thats it) i'd give this area a 6/10

-dry rock gulch- lacking. all i can really say is this area has one type of enemy, no real quests and no working rides a barren empty place (apon end DLC return you will find an extra employee area full of ghouls and landmines this is fun for maybe 1 minuite, nothing more) i'd give this area a 4 maybe 5/10

-Kiddie Kingdom- good story, very good level design especially in the fun house, great lore in the tunnels, this area is lacking in combat due to the only enemies being ghouls, one working ride which is alright, i'd give this area a 7/10

-Nuka Cola Factory- you won't really find any story here except "project cobalt" and thats pretty decent but limited to post-DLC, the enimies here are varied and lore is lacking, but I guess they added a suit of power armour that the community added with mods months ago thats cool... I guess? i'd give this area a 6/10

-outside of the park- there are a few notable locations namely the junkyard, power plant and mystery house, other than these the wilderness is empty and lacking in every respect.

so after discussing the brunt of the DLC in detail we take a look at how the DLC affects the game as a whole, it adds new wasteland workshop content, the new building pieces are good but a few essential ones are missing such as a Nuka-Cola Stand for holding all those new types of bottles you find, another good idea would be to add the new creatures to the wall mounted heads , the most dissapointing fact for me is even though you get all the new parts for automatron (something i didnt think bethesda would ever bother with) they suck, seriously... after adding for example the nukatron torso, your automatron becomes basically uneditable, it is stuck with a voice that you don't get to choose and weird non-matching coulours due to the no paint lock, bethesda added a much loved feature but a niche part of the community but still somehow managed to mess it up, they really don't seem to know what they are doing with the DLC in general.

-------------------------------------------

in all there are a few points i have missed out such as the extremely overpowered new rifle with no true lore behind it, or the squirt gun but i've lost all interest in even talking about this DLC, it just feels so, unfinished.

Final score: 5/10 (DO NOT BUY AT ANYWHERE NEAR FULL PRICE)

Bethesda i am dissapointed with this product's outcome.

Thank the nonexistant gods that i bought season pass early and didn't have to pay full price for this POS.
