I play this game everyday. It is a fairly well made game, but I can't recommend this game at the moment.

Currently, it is moving towards more gambling features every update. This is causing there to be a bigger divide, between the haves, and the haves not. At the moment it is just a profile border and skins for vehicles. But what is next? A new premium that only the top 100 players willing to spend "Gaijin coin" (a currency only afforded to PC players to buy Vehicles and skins off the market. Where the money can never return to your wallet. So it is for ever stuck with Gaijin and they can make it useless at anytime). So if there is a cool item that normally is obtainable by playing the game is now locked behind a pay wall that can be artificially inflated by people who will try to screw you out of money.

I can no longer recommend this for new players. Monetary practices that are anti-consumer. Removing vehicles making players who are new forever unable to obtain unless the god snail decides to bestow a raffle upon the community. Then, the constant changes to BR (Battle Rating) brackets to favour Premium vehicles because players who are new who don't want to grind 500+ hours to get to modern. Then wanting to play modern vehicles, get screwed because you need to learn in the older planes to understand the mechanics, that will make you an even better player, can just buy their way to the top.

I don't mind top tier premiums as long as they don't cost the price of a triple A game, if they aren't going to provide an identical tech tree variant for FTP players to be able to obtain. It shouldn't be this way. It's getting ever more sad and sad to watch this great game get destroyed by greed

Good game but constant connection problems kills chances to win games sometimes. If they fix that and get the game up to date with the card game would make this great

I don't care that this is in beta. There is clearly a character design issue. So many characters are made with no balance thought of whatsoever.

Superman, can just keep spamming command grabs that just lock you out of playing. This would be fine if the dodge mechanic actually worked.
Giant: Super armour on everything and attacks have hitboxes that hit behind or above if it is a down air/special.
Bugs: Can't hit him worth sh*t because the hitbox on attacks are larger than the animation.
Velma: literally allows players to just run and hide and poke you like it is leaque, but worse.

Also, attacks that I have seen to have super armour, get broken by charaters that just have "better" super armour. Game has potential if the devs actually played games like smash (before DLC) To see character balance in games like this. Causes degenerate playstyles that are just not fun to play against nor with.

This doesn't even add to the constant problems with server lag and the ongoing issue of jump bug where you just plummet down when trying to jump up.

TL;DR - Game needs balance fixes, Character redesign, Server fixes, Major bug fixes.

PS. I'm sick and tired of companies releasing open betas just to bring in Micro-transactions to try to get you into buying there sh*t games.

I'd much rather have seen them put this in the tank and play other games in this genre to understand balancing characters more. It's really not that hard there are plenty of games out there. We don't need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ WB Smash clone. I love these characters but in this game... they need to fix this.

Maybe at full release this will be worth it to play, but at the moment, I think its just going to be a twitch faze and will be gone and forgotten once a decent game gets released or when people get fed up with the terrible character movesets.

I Maybe late to the party but even though the game is very slow paced, and talking to every character is a must. This game I would say like a visual novel with combat moments.

As well the map design is great for the cities that you visits, Dungeons leave something to be desired but the story luckily makes up for that.

Combat can become very repetitive if you constantly are aiming for advantages which delays the enemies allowing you to attack first. though a great addition in harder difficulties, on lower difficulties it takes some fun away from the combat. Going in further depth in the combat, it's the typical JRPG turn-based combat, with some fun additions in deathblows and invisible hits. When the enemies get this it can be very bad for you and the party... But as long as you have delay moves it makes it near impossible to let enemies receive these buffs.

The cast of characters are some of my favourites in games. Though they are simple characters in the beginning, I love the development they go through. Making these cookie cutters at the start, really grow into a loveable class of a mix of nobles and nobodies.

All in All, I'd recommend this to any JRPG fans. Though it will be a heavy one if this is the first one you get into, but there are plenty of other games in the Legend of Hereos games, that not on the same graphic scale, still are great games in there own right with great characters.

Doesn't Feel as good as warband when it comes to combat. But, Regardless I feel the story they are giving is better the progress is there, I am still having the occasion crash, but yet again its coming along to feel really good. Hoping for a Napol dlc because i would love to do some events again!

One of the best Nuts to Butts action games that I have ever played, and it can and will build up to the most insane action gameplay moments I have ever played.

Love Loading Screens and Un-obtainable Goals on an online pay to play game, this is for you!

So Been Playing this for awhile. Started Off Solo, Destroyed Some "Tier 3 Hunter" Damn Plebeian couldn't kill a noob. Stole their Bounty and Yeeted, Yote? Whatever I just Skeerted my way out and started playing with my friend now, games more fun the Hunt Other people with swords and just talk to them while you have them held up in a corner.

10/10 got life advice from this guy who was lvl 100 with 200 hours in the game who said he was a real pu$$y slayer, now i believe i can be one myslef. Thanks to whoever you are. (You Know Who you are. ;) ).

Edit:
Games UI has regressed, graphics are broken and will wash out or become blobs making it either super obvious to see people or impossible. Can have friend shoot a person with a 100+ damage weapon at the range shot, followed by my shot < 1 second after with around same damage and player didn't die.

Basically this is a sad regression of a game I loved
