This single-handedly turned my screen from a sad, lifeless rectangle into a mesmerizing portal of animated chaos. Want a chill, scenic landscape? Done. A cat vibing to lo-fi beats? Easy. A fully animated half naked 3D anime girl judging your life choices? You got it!

It runs smoother than my life and somehow uses less RAM than Chrome with one tab open. Absolute must-buy. 10/10 would replace my soul with a live wallpaper if I could.

Finally, a game that understands my life's purpose: digging a pointless hole. The controls? Flawless. The graphics? Dirt. The story? Existential. The ending? A deeper hole. 10/10 would shovel again.

Dayz after many years of development, still falls short of its potential, leaving players with a mixed and often frustrating experience. On the surface, its post-apocalyptic survival sandbox promises an intense and gritty adventure, but it doesn't take long for the cracks to show.

From the get-go, DayZ feels unpolished. Bugs are still rampant, even after countless updates. From glitches where your character suddenly dies for no reason to weapons not firing when they should, these technical issues can pull you out of the experience and make you question whether the game has truly evolved since its early days. Lag spikes, poor hit registration, and clunky controls continue to plague the experience. And while some players might see these quirks as part of the game's "charm," it's hard to ignore the fact that these bugs can often lead to unnecessary deaths and lost progress.

That being said, there's something undeniably compelling about the atmosphere of DayZ. When everything works as intended, scavenging for supplies, evading zombies, and navigating the hostile landscape can create moments of real tension and excitement. The thrill of surviving a dangerous encounter with another player or successfully looting a town without being detected is rewarding—if you're lucky enough to avoid the game's technical issues.

However, the community itself often adds to the frustration. Toxic player interactions are all too common, with many encounters devolving into mindless griefing rather than meaningful cooperation or competition. The game's "kill or be killed" mentality is understandable given the harsh world it portrays, but this often leads to unsatisfying and toxic player interactions that detract from the potential for emergent storytelling and teamwork.

Despite its many flaws, I still find myself returning to DayZ from time to time. There are moments when it can be truly enjoyable, offering a unique sense of tension and survival. But those moments are often overshadowed by bugs, frustrations, and the overall lack of polish. If you're willing to put up with its many shortcomings, DayZ can be a rewarding experience in short bursts—but don't expect a smooth ride. For now, it's a mediocre game that could have been so much more.

Its a positive review from me but the games shortcomings wont be for everyone.

No Man’s Sky is a testament to how far a game can come with dedication, passion, and love from its developers. While it may have had a rocky start back in 2016, today it stands as one of the best games on Steam and deserves a place in everyone’s library.

At its core, No Man’s Sky is a sprawling universe sandbox that offers endless opportunities for exploration and adventure. Whether you’re charting new planets, uncovering ancient mysteries in story missions, or hunting for better ships and upgrades, there’s always something exciting to do. The sheer variety in environments, creatures, and activities is mind-blowing, and the freedom to play at your own pace makes it all the more enjoyable.

The multiplayer component is another highlight. Jumping into the universe with friends or joining random travelers adds a whole new layer of fun and camaraderie. Building bases together, trading, or just exploring strange new worlds side by side is an experience no sci-fi fan should miss.

Even after all these years, the game holds up incredibly well graphically. The vibrant, procedurally generated planets are a visual treat, and the fact that it runs well on older machines is a huge plus. The consistent content updates are another reason to keep coming back—new features, mechanics, and events keep the universe fresh and exciting.

For sci-fi enthusiasts, No Man’s Sky is an absolute dream. It’s the kind of game where you can lose yourself for hours, whether you’re chasing the story or just wandering the stars. This is a game that embodies redemption, evolution, and the boundless possibilities of gaming. Highly recommended!

Game for me became trash when they prevented map selection, forcing you to play any map randomly. Its sad because gameplay was good before this.

One of the last great COD games! Story mode on SP was great and multiplayer for all gametypes was fun.

Despite some gripes with this remaster I have to say that overall I loved it. Yes there are things they could have improved and yes there are some backward thinking changes, but i feel this is the same for all these remasters.
If you love the Rome total war series you should like this despite its flaws.

Amazing.

Early Access Review
I highly recommend this game! Even in early access its worthy of your time.

The game is simple, you land on a planet, exit your ship go out and loot with your team/friends and get back to the ship and leave. Sounds easy right? Simple gameplay yes! Easy NO! There are obstacles to overcome such as nasty alien wildlife, all out to make your job harder but this is all part of the fun of this game.

Listening to your friends scream while being chased by alien beings will cause hysterical laughter.
I find that its 100% best to play with voice activation so you can hear the real reactions to these situations.
Many of these situations you will find yourself in panic, scared or with tears streaming down your face laughing.

The developer has taken a simple and unique concept and turned it into a game worth investing your time into.
A fun game to play with friends.
Easy to pick up and play!

Can't wait to see what the developer has planned for the future for this early access title.

Early Access Review
I would avoid this game until improvements are made in all areas.

UI is poor, even opening loot bags can be frustrating.
Movement feels delayed like lag almost.
Shooting and gunplay needs work.
Map area needs work, hardly any areas to loot.
Very few zombies to be a real threat.
Game itself looks like one giant asset flip.

Overall a very disappointing experience, definitely not living up to the hype of it not even a little. Hopefully the developers can turn this one around. Even if you are tempted, please save your cash and don't buy this game until improvements are made.

Early Access Review
Despite being early access its rather enjoyable to play with friends but it does need some work to get it to a place where people will enjoy it more.

The further you get in the more you notice how rough it is around the edges but you accept it as its still fun, I think many people expect something super polished with some of these early access games.
In my opinion the game needs lots of work to make it more enjoyable. Content is a little lacking and most outposts despite differences you start to notice are the same.

Npc's can be formidable and sometimes land some crazy shots on you, shooting can literal hit and miss. I feel that some of the guns need work in the way they shoot or recoil and hit shots. Graphics are typical unity engine stuff, with the game looking very much like Rust.

Loot system is quite decent, you seem to find what you need eventually without much effort. The crafting system I like as its simple to understand and learn as is the user interface for this. Inventory system is quite nice, could do with a little polishing but its fine to interact with.

Base building and snapping of some items needs work. There is so much scope for the possibilities of what could be achieved with this with patches and of course community input for what is desired/needed.

Map feels on the small side once you get to the faster transport vehicles. You find yourself quickly destroying enemies at outposts and doing super quick loot runs.
More references to the movie waterworld would be nice lol.

Of course I have plenty of gripes with the game but so far so good, the biggest one for me was the ability for individuals to randomly enter your game world despite passwords, kicking them works fine though. I have experienced some issues with ingame storage but I'm confident bugs and glitches like this will be addressed by the game devs.
I do feel that some things could be done now quickly to make the game better, dedicated servers would be a big one and maybe adding pvp as an option.
Well I look forward to seeing what content will be added in the future and how the game will progress. It certainly feels worthy of its current price tag and to spend time on and importantly the devs seem very active in developing the game in to something great.
