More dissapointing than Crimefest 2015.

Played the closed/open beta things didn't get changed even with community feedback.
After 4 days of servers down (Which up to this day I still wonder, why we had a technical test for ?), nothing has changed, so much for "Beta footage".

Before anyone makes the interesting remark of: "Bro, Payday 2 had a rough launch as well" I want you to really check if since the moment you bought the game you could even play. Because at least right off the bat, you could with Crime.net offline.

I just can't believe that no one in the development team has even thought about a simple function of "Ready and unready" in lobbies

And honestly judging about the dev gameplay streams, I doubt they even play their own game outside of doing milestones to keep on going with the development and the 16 months contract worth of updates that they signed to do.

The really cheap excuse of: "this is not Payday 2, is a new experience and is closer to Payday the heist." doesn't help either.

I hope in the future they turn this around, otherwise this is just dissapointing and is going to follow the same steps of OTWD.

There are dozens of posts and community suggestions, so I don't have to point out the obvious and the flaws that the game has.

-Edit-
Game seems to be improving little by little, still a long way, but it's taking shape now.
I recommend it with heavy discount.

-Edit 2-
Game is going downwards again, with weird design choices, uninteresting heists and burst weapons that are impossible to use as in the amount of DPS you can do vs the amount of enemies is just a complete mismatch, I would have preffered an attachment in the weapons that could do fire selector, even if that comes at a loss of DMG for the weapon, just like Payday 2.

I was so excited when back in 2017 they showed a tech demo of Borderlands 3 in UE4

I knew from years ago that several voice actors and the lead writter left the company, but I was still hopeful of getting a proper Borderlands game after the huge success of BL2 and its dlcs, and also Borderlands The Pre-sequel and the Telltale game: "Tales from the Borderlands" .

I pre-order back in 2019 in the stupid Epic Games Store, because at the time it was the only place to get it. They advertised a lot of stuff and incentives to get it on EGS such as gold weapon skins and several other weapons that were "unique" that you could collect in the mail in-game.

A year later Gearbox decides to put this game on Steam, giving away the same incentives and exclusives that EGS was offering. So basically you were just paying in EGS for a 1 year early access. UI problems, framerate issues, crashes, DLC items/weapons missing, story dlcs not unlocking. Not even a single button to change languages. Not even achievement system. Because the launcher at the time couldn't "support" that feature.

8 months later after the Steam release, Gearbox decides to release another season pass 2 that is not even included in the Super Deluxe, which is the most expensive edition ranging around (80/100$). The only thing included and out of pity was the 4 character model DLCs (about 9,99$) each for the Super Deluxe owners.

This 2nd season pass consist of just "Director's and Designer's Cut" which adds a rogue like mode and an extra skill tree for all the VHs of top of that you get some more character model skins.

Altogether this just feels like rushed garbage content to make a quick buck and ♥♥♥♥ completely in everyone that bought the super deluxe edition and the EGS version of the game.

This will be the last time I buy a product from Gearbox or anything related to the Borderlands franchise, they've showed time and time again, that they're not to be trusted.

Play Borderlands 1, 2, Pre-Sequel or Tales from the Borderlands instead, is far better than whatever this "generic looter shooter" has become now because I can't hardly see Borderlands in here.

Cubemaps are now missing textures (These incredible modders forgot to mount Counter-Strike Source)

A ♥♥♥♥ ton of maps which are community maps that can be found easily on the workshop (So much work for just cutting and resizing already existing maps, so difficult to make in 11 months)

Very short "new campaign" , balanced is off the charts in these ones. The only had to do 1 map and one single modification to an existing one in Left 4 Dead (Again, they're going out the same way Valve did releasing Crash Course for Left 4 Dead 1 as a departure campaign rushed and ♥♥♥♥♥♥)

Animations are different now, meaning weapons like the hunting rifle due to the long and unnecesary draw animation can't bash zombies quick enough (thank you modders !) The only thing you guys needed to do was change the view up and down animations so the wrist bug could be fixed, but nah (11 months too hard man)

We definitely need 3 skins of Desert Eagle for sure !

Unimaginate NEW WEAPONS ! (Wow 2 new melee weapons, and a bunch of CSS weapons, that were already in the game as a reward for the censorship that the german edition had)

Bill cigar still not emitting light

Animations not playing correctly when getting someone up

Now voicelines have a cooldown, so you can't "spam" voice commands anymore, (which in my opinion was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funny.)

Now the good stuff:

-Left 4 Dead 1 characters rig doesn't suck anymore

-New music

-I guess someone would give a ♥♥♥♥ about it but a few weapons have now "better textures" (In my opinion they suck, because I liked the old ones)

-Left 4 Dead 1 Infecteds and models

-They finally fixed the machete melting hand and the shoulder going up and down in the fire axe

-Several animations and meshes like the G3 are fixed aswell

-They finally added long stocks and fixed the CSS weapons, so they're not missing the stock anymore and they now play the correct animations and don't get glitched anymore not displaying any animation

-They added move animations to the pistols so they dont stand still when you walk with them, about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time.

-They fixed the glitch so if you AFK you can't avoid anymore the Boomer overlay.

In conclusion:

This update is just a collection of workshop addons that you could already get easily, not worth the hype and not worth anything, if you want to get the achievements, thats the only thing "worth" in this update.

The community is cancerous and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ like always, still no kick ID ban implemented yet so the same griefers can keep joining your game and ruin your fun and other's.

Oh hey cheaters still cheat on the game because VAC is obsolete~

When is Valve or someone with 2 braincells going to acknowledge that you can make "wallhacks" and put them in the workshop like nothing, (Looking to you, users that change the VMT settings to make the walls translucent and then upload it to the workshop huh ? :) )

My very first horror game/Resident Evil title that I've played in my life with my old PSX.

There are obviously graphical improvements compared to the original title. Even though everyone keeps hating the remakes for being remakes and not remastered titles like Resident Evil HD from 2002 and Resident Evil 0 HD.

The game is still very fun, but I dislike some of the changes present in this remake such as:

-Starting in a gas station right outside of town, instead of running into each other at a diner.

-The enemy variations in Resident Evil 2 were a huge improvement over the first Resident Evil for unknown reasons Capcom decided to cut: the moth, the giant spiders, crows and the Licker B. I appreciate the huge remake that the Ivy plants got instead of just being poisonous zombies and thats it.

-I wish Capcom released the additional mini-game extreme battle because the game felt short after finishing A and B with Leon and Claire. 4th survivor or Tofu survivor didn't cut it for me or the Ghost Survivor extra stories.

-It seems that Ada is no longer looking for her boyfriend John and she doesn't mention John at all in the remaster, instead she is just posing as an FBI agent investigating Umbrella.

-There is a big change with this remake though and is that by the end of the original title Claire continues her search for Chris, because she knows he's in danger and then it connects with Resident Evil Code Veronica. However at the end of the 2019 remake, it feels like Claire and Leon just want to take Umbrella down instead of finding Chris. Also this is a little bit problematic because Leon's epilogue in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and Darkside Chronicles show that Leon was blackmailed by the U.S goverment to join them and protect the world (BSAA/STARS) style. But in the 2019 remake he would like to join the FBI to bring Umbrella to justice, so it wouldn't make sense to blackmail him.

-We also find out in the epilogues from RE3 Nemesis that Claire and Leon part separate ways. But if it does in 2019 it might be off-camera. The 2019 remake heavy implies that Leon and Claire stick together for a while which doesn't happen in the original storyline at all.

Regarding scenario differences and better level design:

-I like that the sewers have been expanded with more rooms, tunnels and enemies. now the items needed such as the chess pieces to exit the RPD and enter the sewers are used to reach the exit of the sewer section.

-The lab is the one that received the most changes like for example the cable car going to the marshaling yard to take an elevator to the underground, in the remake however the cable car leads straight to the lab and the marshaling yard is moved to the very bottom of the lab. The train car however is used now to escape from the lab in the end. I gotta say though it looks like this design might be based in the Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City.

-The scenario variations are somewhat a little bit similar in gameplay perspective but, the only major differences between the scenario A and B are just the placement and availability of a small number of items as well as different puzzle solutions and an extra boss at the end of scenario B, there are definitely some new plot pieces that ties this "remake" series all together but overall is the same structure.

-Now Mr X appears in both Scenario A and B in the remake and no longer is only a scenario B thing like in the original 1998 release.

A great mix between Battlefield and Call of Duty, wish the sequel was as good as this one.

Great childhood memories. Used to play this a lot together with AoE 2 and War3.

Although it's missing translations and some other campaigns from the expansions sets[Anthology/Gold Edition] it is still a great game.

Thanks Haemimont for adding this great game to steam !

A really short but challenging game, the atmosphere here is great, the hitboxes need a little bit more of work, but overall is good.
