Dragon's Dogma 2 disappoints on multiple fronts. The forgettable characters contribute to a lackluster narrative, while poorly scripted scenes fail to engage players. Combined with a confusing storyline and minimal enemy variety, this sequel misses the mark and fails to capture the essence of its predecessor.

This game feels significantly easier than similar titles like King's Field by FromSoftware. The leveling progression happens too quickly, almost effortlessly, and the level design and enemy placement lack the depth and surprise elements found in King's Field and Shadow Tower.
Moreover, the excessive use of hidden walls becomes more of a "hug the wall simulator" rather than a clever way to hide items like the Blessed Wind. My enthusiasm dwindled when I encountered a boss with an exorbitant amount of health and a gimmicky second phase.
It was frustrating to experience inexplicable deaths even in situations where I was supposed to be invulnerable, such as when I attacked the boss while it was on the ground. At this point, I've lost interest in continuing with the game.

good idea to put an item that can drop from everywhere that can end your run
(and not that rare too), i got the toilet paper in the last room in a box before the final boss.

looking around i know its a common complain but its just too dumb

It was good until i got stuck in a bugged puzzle and since the dev are aware about it for years but don't care i guess i don't too.

Amazing comeback

Stuck in the menu bug, lost all progress. This bug has been in the game since release and sitll not fixed.

Very good first impression, it's really fun the combat in 3D work great and online work perfectly

Too grindy with bare bone content
