I love this game but I am not changing my overall recommendation until Sony is dissolved and off my PC.

Killer app is an obsolete term that applies to a very niche set of software that defines and pushes the capabilities of a certain system or piece of hardware for what can be reasonably discerned as... well... THE ♥♥♥♥ to buy.

VR needs these if it hopes to survive the next two or three decades. H3VR stands above the rest as the benchmark of VR guns. It's the bare minimum of interactivity, responsiveness and pure polish. It ruined Pavlov for me. It ruined Into the Radius. Having shot real guns and done the real thing, I can assure you that you can accept no substitute. H3VR is a killer app. It's a genre defining, VR machine selling game that will forever be the best in show.

Thank you Antoine, you destroyed almost 100 hours of my life in a year. My steam time doesn't include the modded hours I've played, as well as the times I've played at a friends before I got my Rift.

Okay, I'm a big fan of more raw, less polished experiences in general. A lot of times they can be seriously fun. The issue is that this mod fails to maintain a level of stability. If it bluescreens my pc I can't recommend it, but with how janky this is for what's basically a dude or two trying to make half-life 1 into something crazy, well, I have to commend em.

How did I miss this game? This is easily one of the best open world games ever made. It feels like playing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gangster movie while also driving the player to roleplay as Niko just a little bit with every action and every step you take through the story. I love GTA IV

Alright, I think out the door, day one, there is a lot of weird stuff going around with the launch of HAWKEN Reborn

I don't hate this game. In fact, I think it might be one of the most stable launches of 2023, and 2022. That's not saying a lot, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on this game for working microtransactions that can buy you literal progression is a little much. If nobody remembers in the original HAWKEN, you could literally buy every actual mech with real money. This is very in character for the folks at 505. I was a F2P player, I didn't spend a dime to get the paid mechs, and my progression wasn't very much because of it.

The options menu is very controller-centric, there's no visible working effects for altering the menu other than immediately in your HUD, but what I see here is an attempt at something more deep than to give us a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cash grab game. This feels almost like the best playable trailer that nobody ever wanted, and I don't hate it. In the same vein as shareware in the 90's, this is a playable slice of a video game that (mind you, is 0.1.0, so only about the 10th iteration of this concept.) could be good or even great. As the game updates we're probably going to see a lot more effort on the developer's part if we want to see 1.0.0, if any more HAWKEN at all. Ever.

In the community hub there's a lot of flaming for PvE vs. PvP, and the only thing I want to bring forward to is that; HAWKEN's PvP only design was very good, yes, but didn't lend itself to the development or the encompassing sense of world and setting like a PvE or story-driven game could-- In fact a lot of maps felt disjointed from each other, with jungles and towns and tekbases and big borg cubes making up many of the different environments, with very little explanation to tie them together. In a game like TF2, the 60's spy-movie vibes are tied together in the world by signs and skyboxes and backdrops that tie everything to a more grounded, definite setting that can play off of the tilesets and textures and art of all sorts of maps. HAWKEN had its mechs and tech to tie everything together. The PvE design looks like a way to get the game on its feet and play with how the mechs move, feel, set up the world of HAWKEN, and give us a scoop that could only open to a co-op experience and hopefully bring us back to a richer and more diverse world of PvP rocket-detonating, HMG, and mortar bombing mayhem we came to love back in 2012.

TL:DR Hol' up, Let em cook.

I would approve of this game. Why? Because if I don't it's a sin against PC Gaming.

This is literally the best fraggin game I've played in the last few years. I like to call it Slavery: Space Edition, but depending on who you play, that isn't the case. Don't play it on any difficulty higher than like Challenging though. You'll die quickly.

Doom is a favorite, every single one. Hell, I even liked 3. But this, this... How do I say this? Well, if you take the classics, and repaint with whatever we thought we imagined it as twenty years ago, this would be the game. It was our nightmares, or dreams, and our just avid imaginations. This is the Doom we remember except with better graphics, bigger guns, and overall a better look.

Though the lack of mods sucks. Russian Overkill will always be my first choice when deciding what I want to kill five minutes on. Fix this in Eternal.

Okay, Audiosurf is my childhood. I used to play Audiosurf on my 2003 laptop computer while watching TOS and folding laundry with my dad. I used to play the Transformers theme on Audiosurf all the time. Audiosurf 2 flushes me with the fun of playing easy Mono, listening to the sweet sounds of Iron Maiden riffs while watching Star Trek TNG, plus, better graphics and mods.
