Fun little game, didn't take long to finish and I just chilled and watched some videos and had fun playing it. Good game for a good price.

I say not recommended because I sincerely hope the devs read this. AMMUNITION SHOULD NOT BE AS LIMITING A FACTOR AS IT IS IN THIS GAME!!!!!!! Its a fun game and the enemies are strong and you character gets stronger and it creates a nice little loop and a lot of reasons to go back to the old maps to do more things. But I am constantly running out of ammo because the enemies do not drop nearly enough. Then I have to check the map for an ammo from somewhere hope theres one then I have to stop playing and start running toward the ammo crate which I can only use once. This is a bad design. I have to wait for spell cool downs, melee cool downs, watch my stamina, conserve health potions, choose the right upgrades, try not to die so I can keep my witchfire to ascend my guy. The list goes on for things that need to be managed to a somewhat high degree. Please stop making ammo one of them.

This game isn't too hard or easy and its very fun, when I can actually play it. Don't add mechanics to it that suck the fun out of it.

I'm not playing a game hat resets almost everything every 6 weeks. I really don't know what they are thinking but I am an adult with a job so I won't sink any time into this. The fact that people are okay with it is baffling.

Since update game crashes when I try to play. When game crashed I got suspended. So I'll just uninstall. This game isn't exciting enough to or different enough to care about it when they break their own game them punish the players for it. Into the trash it goes.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Game seems fun except one MASSIVE issue. I can't even get through the tutorial without the game crashing.
I'm running R75800x and a 7900xtx if anyone else is having similar issues and figured something out. Gonna try reverting to previous driver.

Update: This game is an absolute blast. When it works...This crashing is ridiculous. I updated my drivers and thought the problem was solved because I went a few hour without a crash. Nope. In the heat of a battle the damn thing crashes again. This is by far the worst experience I have had with a game. Its even worse than playing a heavily modded Cyberpunk 2077.

Second update after having it for a few days now: I still can't get through a whole mission without having a crash. It doesn't matter what drivers I use. I am simply at a loss. I even payed for the super citizen version when I was able to play for a couple of hours without crashing when I was dumb enough to think the problem was solved. I have not seen a more incompetent dev team in my life. I can't even request a refund because i'm out of the window.

Was playing my first match. Was going pretty well other guys deck was annoying. Was waiting for him to choose or card or something I had just activated a trap card. I'm literally clicking around thinking maybe I was supposed to do something but no I had already chosen the target for my trap and he activated something in response so I was definitely waiting for him. Next thing I know it pops with with "YOU SURRENDERED". Uninstalled...

I still play this game a bit when I'm doing certain things since it pretty mindless and repeatable but no matter how hard I try I just can't recommend it. After just 1 or 2 runs it becomes extremely boring. playing with a friend requires a 3rd party application. The main issue I have is the overall mechanics such as the dodge. I have found that using the dodge as little as possible is the best option since after the recover your vulnerable for what feels like an eternity and if you dodge in the wrong direction, such as in the same direction of a bullet you will 100% get hit cause you move at the same speed as most bullets. So while it is fun it becomes not fun very quickly.

If you're into very difficult games then you might like it more but for a rogue-lite it just seems a little too punishing for my taste. Especially when its the mechanic thats supposed to get you out of trouble that seems to screw you over the most. If you want to sit here and practice this game to get good, you totally can but I find myself getting bored way too soon for me to want to get better at it. Also the RNG doesn't feel rewarding at all. I can sometimes get almost to the boss of the second dungeon and have received very little loot at all, which is ridiculous for a rogue-lite. I originally planned on giving it a recommend but as I kept writing this review I realized that I just couldn't. This is one of the worst rogue-lites I have played in a long time. Also there is "synergy" with items but its basically pointless since the odds of you getting those items together is tiny. I genuinely don't understand why this game is as popular as it is.

Downloaded this game and its been "down for upgrades for days. Haven't even been able to play. This development is clearly incapable of managing anything. And no i'm not going to join your discord server just so I can know when I can play. That's a headache and I would rather just uninstall.

So much "exciting" loot that you can't even see.

I decided to give it a try even further. First of all the loot is unimaginative, it does very little plus like I said earlier you can't see it. Which its pixel graphics so the fact that they decided to leave that out just seems lazy. The only thing that changes that you can see is your weapon well guess what, you don't get those as loot, they are dropped from certain portals that you get whenever the game has them at set points. Honestly I wouldn't recommend spending more than like 3 dollars on this game and that's generous. I'm pretty sure most of these positive reviews are bots or something. 0.5/10

Unfortunately in its current state I can't recommend it. In Southern California I can't get into a server where I have less than 150 ping. its up to 300 in some cases which makes even the PvE game modes unplayable. I think cheaters are a thing as well in PvP but since I can't ever be competitive either way its hard to say. Could just be my bad connection. If for some reason you think its cause I have slow internet i have 200mbps and never have higher than 20ms ping in any other game.
