A great game from a great franchise. I've been playing Epic Battle Fantasy games since I was a kid, and somehow they're all still just as fun as I remember them being!

Can't wait for the big update that's coming soon, I just know it's gonna be good!

Good game. Has a bunch of glitches, but which Source game doesn't, right?

Screw the stalker section though. The "flashlight" isn't that strong to begin with, so why take it away? The section would be hard enough with it, it's still not like I can see ahead.

Early Access Review
Not as fun as watching other people play it, but still very entertaining. Playing it together with someone else next to you is the best though.

Not what it looks like!

Surprisingly high quality game, with way more depth than I expected! Still plenty of humor though, but it wasn't distracting. If anything, it made the game more enjoyable and unique!

Yes, Creation Club is horse(armor)♥♥♥♥, but the game itself is still great. I don't think it's fair (or effective) to give a negative review just because of the creation club, it would be much more effective to simply not make use of it.

That being said, I do reccomend the game, even if I don't approve of Bethesda's methods.

Don't be scared off by the mixed reviews! This is a very solid source mod, with great voice acting, beautiful sceneries, challenging fights and an interesting story! It is a bit pricy, but if you wait for a sale, then that's no longer an issue. If you're too curious to wait though, then buy it at full price! That way, you'll support the developer and his team, so he can polish it even further, and make even more good games!

There's a reason it's still in the top 10 most played games after almost 10 years. I'm not sure what that reason is, but it's there.

Probably.

There's really nothing bad I can say about this game.

It has clever puzzles, a great story, stunning visuals (occasionally, I just stopped with the puzzles to enjoy the scenery!), and it even has achievements, trading cards and a LEVEL EDITOR with workshop!

Ok, the price might look a bit high, but it's absolutely worth it! And you could always wait for a sale, this game often goes 75% off during those.

TL;DR: a great game if you need to waste a few minutes.

This game was disappointing when I first played it.

The biggest downside for me (besides the fact that my hardware struggled with low settings) was the removal of the only playstyle I was used to: number keys to switch lanes.
Then there was the bad user interface, the half-broken useless Soundcloud integration, the lack of settings (key binds, visual, etc), the fact that the core gameplay was changed (gray blocks are no longer necessarily bad, they are even essential for a perfect score), and the bad hitboxes.

However, after playing the game for a while, I stopped caring about some of these problems, and others were taken care of by Dylan himself.

I got a less ancient video card, and the game now played fine.

The number key controls are still absent, but I've gotten better with the arrow keys now.

The user interface took some getting used to, but I managed to eventually.

The half-broken Soundcloud integration has now been replaced with barely broken Youtube integration.

The new gameplay also took some getting used to, but I don't mind it now.

The lack of settings is still a bit of an inconvenience, though.

How? How did you manage to make the HOMESCREEN lag? Not to mention the game itself... I got about 2 spf (seconds per frame), and I have about double the mentioned neccesary specs! Cardboard graphics setting doesn't seem to change anything, both performance-wise and visually. Normally I'd ask for a refund in this scenario, but the game didn't cost anything anyway. GG, devs.
