After playing the Sniper Elite V2, which I was not really fond of, I was pretty sceptical regarding the 3rd title of the franchise. Yet, after I kept at it for a while, I was getting more and more into it. If you have finished the first two mission, the maps are getting better and better - my favourites are the four DLC missions, which are really beautifully made - and the mission are becoming more fun. The Ai is still not the smartest, even on the highest difficulty. Actually, the game is not that difficult at all, in my opinion. This is why I recommend to play it on Sniper Elite and definitely without the aim assistent. The later makes the game too easy and just boring.
Also, the way to approach a your mission is now mostly up to you and feels much less like you're glued to a rail. Something the second game was terribly in need of. Thus the desert maps of North Africa are wider and more open, instead of the narrow streets of Berlin, although there are still some close combat parts.
Unfortunatley - while still in a normal Sniper Elite game lenght of 15 to 20 hours - it seems rather short with only 8 main campagne missions and 4 DLC missions.
All in all a pleasent surprise and much closer to the first installment of the series. Hopefully part four and five are even better again.

I played this in my childhood, but never made it past the greek part. Today the nostalgia is hitting me hard and after I got in touch with the ARPG genre lately, I grew fond of this game. Especially because I'm a sucker for history and mythology.
Although Titan Quest is an older title and not anywhere as fast paced as Grim Dawn for example, it is holden the scale exactly in balance between old and new. While it is not too difficult, there is still enough to grind without getting lost in the process itself. The classes are fun, eventhough a bit outdated compared to modern ARPGs. Still, combined with the DLCs there is plenty to do and it is save to say, one can invest 100 hours with ease into this game. If you are into it, that is.

I really want to like this game, but I can't. Maybe it's better, if you don't have played the first title before, but Sniper Elite 2 does not feel like a sequel, but like cheap remake. Yes, the graphic has become better and the controlls got a well deserved work over, but that's about it.
The AI became stupid, either is rushing at you like no ther is tomorrow or simply shooting at your postion, even if you're not even there anymore. It's pathfinding also is kinda buggy sometimes.
The stealth system suffered immensely. I don't even feel the need to go stealth anymore, especially because I have a Call of Duty like auto heal mechanic. Talking about Call of Duty, while the maps in the first title are way bigger, the maps in the second installment are like in a Call of Duty Game. Linear, scripted and way too small for a sniper game.
Besides the game forces you to either snipe your targets or to go stealth. It totally lacks the freedom of approach from the previous game. Most of the gear is useless too. You may choose now between different sniper rifles, yes, but the use of trip wires or mines, not to mention the dynamite, is simply not necessary at all.
The only two missons of the rather dull story I had partly fun with were those, where you had to fight against the other sniper squads. Besides the story, only the Kill Tallies are fun. The Challanges are all right compared to the campagne too. But all in all Sniper Elite 2 feels like Nazi duck hunt, with the ducks shooting back from time to time.
Wait until it is in a sale or buy the first Sniper Elite.

I have played Dungeon Siege and I fairly liked it. I have played Torchlight 1 and 2 and was not very satisfied by them. All in all I'm not really into ARPG games. That was until I played Grim Dawn. This game is not only beautifully made (lovely grim-dark atmosphere in a nice steampunky fantasy genre with a touch of Lovecraft) , it's gameplay is absoloutly amazing. I especially like the faction system and the many combinations of the classes you can choose from.
Also, I have the feeling that the delevopers have truely invested passion and love into the project. Seriously hoping for a Grim Dawn 2 or some more DLCs to exaband the universe and the not even bad narrated story.

Fantastic and timeless game! I loved playing this in my childhood, but I never finished it, because of school and stuff and because Borderlands 2 came out shortly after I got it. Glad I finally could fill that gap in my Borderlands timeline.
And to those, who say the game aged like milk: You could not be more wrong. The graphic choice made it literally impossible for it to age in that category. The gunplay is still on point and the story hell of a ride with all the funny dialogues and popculture references.
Of course Borderlands 2 is better in any way, but after playing Borderlands 3, it is nice to come back to the roots, with slightly less hysterical characters and a lot of love in the product.

P.s.: Still playing the DLCs. Very satisfied so far.

Beautiful game, charming art style, challenging gameplay and a in a good way sad story.
Although, I probably got myself a few stomach ulcers because of one or two levels.
Jokes aside: Glad I bought this and the message helps even people, who don't suffer from cancer. I can only recommend it.
Embrace life as a whole!

I haven't finished it yet, but I'm almost at the end and formed my opinion already.
This game is highly overrated and simply boring. The story is shallow, the main character a bad cliché, the gameplay repetitive, the world feels lifeless and narrow. Yes, you can actually decide how you want to solve the current quest (mostly), but this feature doesn't really help the game.
To be honest, I'm not one, who easyly gives up on a game. I really gave Deus Ex: Human Revolution every chance, but evena after a half year break, because I couldn't stand it anymore, I have quite the trouble finishing it without instandly quitting and uninstalling it.
I really would like to like this game, but I can't. I simply can't.

A very nice game. It's fun, the missions are stunning, the secondary objectives put some extra flavor into it and the story is very well narrated.

4/5 (One of the best strategy games about World War 2!)

I really like the idea of these three campagnes and I bet they're fun. This is why I'm extra mad.
Why am I mad at the game? Because I only could finish the Tiger Ace Campagne and I already had troubles with the game in that one. Everytime I finish the first mission of any campagne and it loads to the second mission, they bar gets stuck at 2/3. Afterwards it either stands their for a moment and crashes or crashes instandly.
I found a solution for the Tiger Ace campagne, but I have really no clue what's the problem of the other two.
So, until this is fixed - Thumb down! Buying something without the possibility to play it, just sucks.

1/5 (because the Tiger Ace mission is nice)
