Current - Good work Helldivers, we are Victorious. The Undemocratic Forces of Sony buckled under the might of the Helldivers. We have forced the PSN linking requirement to be abandoned. Now we can enjoy Democracy untainted. Lets get back out there, the Galaxy still needs us.


Old Review - I originally loved the game. Though with recent news I cannot recommend it. I can say that I never heard about the "requirement" until today.

In all honesty, this game is not worth it at this moment. Feels like a quick cash grab that disrespects the original versions of both games. They should have fixed a lot of the already WELL KNOWN issues in the game but they dont see to have even done that. This could have been so good and gained so much fame for even just doing the BARE MINIMUM for the game.

Problems in my eyes:
~Re-texturing seems half baked, this was meant to be one of the primary reasons to get the game and it wasnt even that good.
~Multiplayer is a buggy mess.
~Didnt even fix minor issues that have been in the games for years such as the LAAT acceleration
~Introduced even more bugs now, more are minor but it makes this game feel even worse. What happened to quality testing?

I am not big brain enough for this game.

Good game, may have some stuttering but it is coming along nicely.

Pros: The Gloves you have make it easy to climb around the battlefield easy, giving you the freedom to tackle the battle your own way.
No need to actually crouch in order to grab an item with your "Force" abilities.
Extensive armory can make things fun, cant wait to see what else they add. Maybe more attachments such as different barrels? They recently added the ability to add skins to your guns which are unlocked. Can find unlockable ones on map as well for most if not all guns.


Cons: Albeit gun play can be amusing, it can also be pretty annoying at least with trying to aim. It feels that sometimes with sights you have to aim the gun unnaturally high to see the sight. (Although a lot of the time this is just due to VR being weird)
Story can be lack-luster (Most likely will be fixed in later updates.

Side Notes: This game does show promise and I personally cannot wait till this game is fleshed out more with more to do. I have yet to touch the online play though. May try that at a later date.

Game is visually pleasing but riddled with bugs. Would not recommend in its current state. I sadly was really hyped to play this game with my boyfriend and purchased it for us both. We just keep raging at the game breaking bugs. I do plan on continuing to play but most likely at a later date.

Camera follow on enemies which of course it will automatically lock on to is horrible and makes fighting stupidly hard. Enemies can also attack you in succession way faster then you can and their attacks go through your shield almost no matter where youre shield or sword are placed. The camera added to the whole, Enemies can hit you 8 TIMES IN 2 SECONDS breaks your ability to block effectively so you get whipped which lowers your health and max stamina. That also means you get tired faster when TRYING to block but we all know you can barely anyway at the moment. AI can always kick you back when you get too close then immediately attack. Until the camera is refined and possibly AI Attack speed is slowed, I personally do not recommend this game for the casual. Those who are for many rage inducing play sessions, go all ahead.

Its a nice game but needs to be optimized more. I have had many problems with this game but that isnt a problem too badly.
