Europa Universalis IV

After 2000+ hours i believe it was time i wrote a review for this game. Europa Universalis IV is by far the best RTS game i've ever played. For starters, the game is EXTREMELY complex. Tutorials you'll find on youtube are only essential for you to learn the basics of the game. Everything else is about experience and sinking in hours and hours of game play. 300 hours in, and i still had no idea what i was doing. Games of this type are very intimidating at first because you simply don't know where to start. There isn't much to guide you around either. Every game session and country that you pick is unique and the game play will always be different. EU4 as a whole is a beautiful game. The UI and everything that comes with it is well presented. War mechanics, which is obviously the biggest thing you'll have to get used to is fairly easy to understand. Among all other paradox games, i'm pretty confident that EU4 is the best one out there. It does indeed come with a lot of DLCS, but to be honest, you don't really need most of them. The base game itself is fine on its own. DLCs only make a few things easier - a few things that should've been in the base game itself. Overall, if you are very fond of strategy games, you definitely need to give Europa Universalis IV a try, or at least a few hundreds of hours.
