Hardware: 2080super, 5800x3D
Resolution: 1440p
Maintaining at least 60fps in most areas

I'm a huge fan of the first game and DD2 definitely delivers a fantastic experience that improves on the first's gameplay. If you are a diehard fan it's worth getting if not now hopefully in the future once the game has been improved.

Though on to the negative and why my recommendation is no. The game needs to be updated and made more stable when entering towns. I haven't tinkered with settings very long but processing utilization seemed low even with low fps. Also the microtransaction are egregious. Making the RC purchasable is one thing since the impact on the game is limited similar to the currency in DMC but having a buyable portcrystal, key, character editor, and wakes stones is too much. Additionally, portcrystals can be found in game but in DD1 they were limited and needed to be planned out to maximize ease of travel.

This review will be negative until the microtransactions are significantly changed.

My recruiter said there was a $40 sign on bonus.

He didn't say who was paying.

Edit: my recruiter is telling me I need to create an account on the bots website or be discharged

Update: Bethesda added paid mods to their dead game. Bethesda is a bad company that doesn't deserve the community that loves their games. CD projekt red spent years fixing their game before releasing paid dlc.

Most innovative loading screen sim.

They made a mixing pot of a lot of other games people are fans of and boiled all of the flavor out of it, and the only flavor they've been adding post launch is salt. Loads of salt.

I don't think anything can fix this game. I've almost fallen asleep playing the game because everything interesting that happens is accompanied by loading screens and menu navigation just to get from point a to b. I was excited for the space exploration of the game but ships are basically pointless and only act as storage bins and a gun. Flying your ship only occurs from the place the game fast travels you to and to close enough to the target to initiate the next loading screen.
