As someone who played O.G. ark for over 2k hours, I will say, I am loving ascended. It's Ark but with Unreal Engine 5. Yes, it has some issues, just as with any game, and some of those issues are the same as with the Ark S.E. ......But ascended is beautiful! I am loving the new engine and overall U.I. I can easily see myself adding ascended to my top 5 most played games soon.

You do need somewhat of a beefy machine to play this game; but people seem to not understand, the Unreal Engine 5 (and more down the road) is the future of gaming and people need to update, whether its now or later. Don't hate on survival ascended because it doesn't run on your 10 year old PC, that's your problem, not Wild Card.

And if you don't/can't afford a beefy machine, there are quite a bit of tweaking options you can do to downgrade the unreal engine to make it run more smoothly. (I ran this game on my 5 year old laptop with a few tweaks, 1080p @ 60fps, 16gb ram and onboard graphics. It's doable.

Whether this is your first time playing ARK or you've been playing Ark for along time, this game is definitely worth it IMO.

I will probably get hate for this, but I absolutely LOVE this game! I spent the first day playing over 14 hours straight! (who need sleep anyway?) There are a few quirks and things I don't agree with in this game, but I still love it.

-It is literally Skyrim/Fallout in space! -

I already love FO and Elder scrolls, so of course I love starfield. There are tons of planets to explore BUT the layout for enemy bases or buildings are very similar. Enemy tactics and layouts, armor/weapons are very similar on every planet. Not having the ability to fly where ever I want in space, kind of sucked, but I 100% understand why they made the game the way they did and it doesn't change my opinion.

When your playing it, just imagine your traveling thru skyrim landscape and entering the different dungeons or cities and transfer that thought process to the planets or mines. Its the same.

- One of the things I appreciated most is, how I can go from walking into my space ship, take off into space, move my ship in the direction of my mission and just travel there w/o having to break the immersion and opening my map or inventory, was awesome. Truly appreciated that immersion.
Honestly, I could go on and write a novel about how much I truly love and appreciate this game, but who is going to read that?

Would I recommend this game?
-If you enjoy Elder scrolls & Fallout series, yes!
-If you're looking for a realistic space simulator? No, I would check out several of the other more realistic ones out there.

Solid 9 out of 10 for me. I still love ark more!

I have been playing the Forza series since xbox 360. I have seen the excellent progression in game play, story, graphics and whatnot and I am very impressed with Forza 4. I love the open-world aspect as well as the ability to drive around with random people in the world and race or whatever. Great graphics, Great story, definitely has "replay-ability". Played for a long time on my Xbox and was very excited to see that it had been released on steam. This game really gives you that dopamine fix and the immersion into this world is unreal.
Worth it 100%.
P.S. I have Horizon 5 as well and I keep coming back to 4.

It took me some time to get into it, but eventually I fell in love with it.
Definitely a scary/horror game and worth playing. Having fun playing with friends and "trolling" them occasionally ;)
Only downside I've had with this game, is the equipment store is not super clear in its use. It could use with an overall and/or explanation in its use.
Other than that, its a great game! 100%

Well...this game is a perfect example of the phrase, "Don't judge a book by its cover/title". At first I was like um, no, this looks dumb....I was soooo very wrong!

Very addicting! I am loving the character progression, weapon/item upgrades. All of the unlocks and whatnot!
TBH, the day I bought the game, I found myself 6 hours later, having stayed up till 6am, playing this game because I just couldn't stahp! I highly recommend this game!

Runs great on Steam Deck/ROG Ally! 10/10 for sure!

P.S. I suggest playing thru the first little while to understand the basic concept of the game; then after a period of time, Google the different character builds....It will make all the difference, 100%.

Of course would recommend this game! Been playing for a while on Minecraft Launcher and ofc its comes out on steam and have to buy it for the "achievements".

Diablo meets Minecraft.

TBH, I was not at all interested in this game from the get go......After a decent period of time, I gave it a shot.
It hits all the buttons for me. The open world exploration, the ability to change the terrain, ability to build pretty much what ever I so please, all while trying to build a last stand within 7 days? Sign me up!

Plus! The Darkness Falls mod is 10 out of 10 for me, without question! It has got me hooked for what 2 years now? I can't stop!

4/5, only reason not 5/5 is graphics. But gameplay makes up for that 100%.

Fun game. Have had a good time on PC. Played a lot on Epic, but prefer steam. On top of that, it actually runs quite well on Steam Deck, so that's a big win in my book! :)
P.S. Once you get the KURAMA = WIN EVERYTHING! XD

One of my most anticipated games...I have not been let down yet! Has the O.G. Forest feel and then some. It gives me a lot more of that "Survival" feel to it. I can see myself grinding this for next few weeks for sure! The Forest was one of the few games that actually scared me....I have high hopes for this one!
(P.S.) The Friendly NPC to gather and follow is a very nice addition!!

Yes, game is amazing. Having a blast exploring the world and upgrading my gear. OH and dying...and dying... and dying... But makes the grind so much better and worth it when you finally take down the boss! Really pushes you to your limits!
