This game really absorbed me and it's very reasonably priced. Loads of different interlocking mechanics and I've not run into any serious bugs.

This is the first review I've ever written but I feel it's important to do so as somebody who was a loyal purveyor of BGS games in the past. I don't think this game sucks or anything but it simply misses the point entirely on what makes previous BGS games such as Fallout 4 and Skyrim fun. Todd Howard describes their games' objective as being to create a "world you can get lost in", and that totally tracks for their previous titles, but Starfield legitimately bores me, and is fundamentally a world I cannot get lost in nor can enjoy over more than 20 hours of gameplay.

I'm very disappointed that something I was so hyped for is so mediocre and I hope BGS learn from their mistakes and make something better next time.

Thank you Steam for screwing me over after I spent £14 a week ago extra because you offered no separate DLC pack.
