Good game.

It was an ok (not great) game up until the water part of the ginsu tree, then it turned in a frustration fest. I ******** hate this **** game with a ***** passion now. How the ***** did this game win so many awards? ************************ this ******.

This is not a bad game, this is a mediocre game. Boring with a sidedish of bugs and glitches.

It may look like a cross between Neo Scavenger and Battle Brothers, but that is in looks only, as this game is shallow and easy to figure out. Once you have understood how to play the game (what to loot, best way to cookie-cutter spend the character points etc.), it becomes a boring grind lacking any kind of depth. "Battles" in the game play out more like RISK, or an old school Sid Meier Civ game: strongest pile of units will win.

Changing the difficulty (easy, normal, hard), or messsing around with the spawnrate for zombies and items will just add to, or deduct from, the amount of grind you have to do to get all the achievements.
This game is about as interesting as putting one box next to another box, and then do it over and over again.

Oh, and for some reason the sounds the survivors make when they eat, sounds alot like how the dwarves sound when they eat in the game Craft the World.

It's quite boring actually. The greatest challenge with this game, is staying focused on it while playing.

I belive that there is a good game hidden in there, but unless you live with someone you can play with, you are forced to play with bots only, as there are not enough who own and play this game online for you to reliably find any opponents.
I bought this game during the fighting game sale that Steam had, and went online during Saturday midday (european central time), and found a total of two other players. They were playing in a locked lobby, with a ping of 300-400 relative to me. Mkay, great.

If it was possible I would give this game a sideways thumb, but since that is not possible I will give it a thumbs down rating. Reason; they've failed to bring on enough players to make a healthy community.

Entering and exiting a building is like playing russian roulette with your game (it chrashes). If you don't save all the freaking time, you're out of luck. If they fix this known bug, then I might come back and give it another try and change my review to positive.

It was more stable way back when they realeased it in early access, not much to do back then though so I waited until it got finished.

One of the best fighting games made, ever. And you can still play it online versus other human players, free of lag due to superior netcode!

Beautiful and fun to play game. It's like Mega Man and Metroid glued together with sugar.

The devs spend alot of time fixing ♥♥♥♥ that doesn't really needs fixing, instead of actually building the game.
It has been in early access for years and years and years, and still there is no goal or point or any sense of urgency when playing the game, no "end game". You survive your first seven days ingame, and... that's it, that's the game, after that it's just more of the same, build an impenetrable base and be bored.
