My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. For those of you who don't know, Gearbox, a couple of months back, bought out Risk of Rain 2. And for those who understood and knew what was going on, there was some protest about it. But it seems Gearbox is like the opposite of King Midas, where everything they touch turns to, well... nnhngn,... a mess. Gearbox, everything they touch is just garbage, and it's terrible. And as soon as they bought Risk of Rain 2, I had this sinking feeling—Gearbox would ruin this game, wouldn't they? And that's exactly what they did. Just like everything else they touch, really. nhnhngn.... they ruined it. Um........ terribly disappointing, what um- I'm experiencing here. Risk of Rain 2 was one of my favorite games, I kid you not. It was something special on its own. The gameplay used to be - I mean, it was so smooth, so polished. But after this new DLC, it’s something else entirely. I mean, the game is almost unplayable. The FPS now dictates the gameplay speed, the final boss is invincible, and on Xbox, you can't even get past the main menu... oh~ so frustrating~..... I tried everything, but no patches are going to fix this atrocity. None. This comes down to the quality of the game itself. A perfect game should just run smoothly. This is broken. And that's disgraceful, really is. And it brings a game that was excellent to something that is now below average. And it's not completely unplayable, mind you. It's technically functional, granted. Uh, but when you're used to expecting... Sips water ...excellent quality gameplay, some of the best from an indie game, and then you load it up, and it's all just buggy... and rather lackluster in terms of performance, it's such a terrible, terrible disappointment, ladies and gentlemen. And this was such a good game. I would've recommended it to anyone, and now it's essentially a piece of garbage. So -um-uh- so I hope you can imagine my disappointment when I know likely it's never going to go back to what it was.
