Spent around 400 hours on this game on the PS4. Great game, and in some ways my favorite of the Souls Games.

I guess this is the underdog and gets a lot of negative publicity from fans, but what it does wrong with its clear faults in map/level cohesion it more than makes up for;

The addition of the DLC in this version (SoTFS) provides some of the best maps and additional and varied item builds and choices. The mechanics are also well developed, with credibility given to almost any playstyle or choice of weapon.

At endgame, this game provdies some of the best PVP of the Souls games and perhaps of all games of its day. I spent around 75% of my time, at end-game, replaying bosses with others and fighting against others in the arena.

This game also benefits from a more interesting NG+ where additional enemies and items are present in the subsequent playthrough, and actually feels worthwhile.
