Everyone outraging 'bout this game have smooth brain syndrome and never play the OG Dragon Dogma. This game is a masterpiece and the MTX controversies are just a bunch of reddit weirdos who don't even play the game in the first place. No New Game is literally PART of the LORE for Dragon Dogma and is intended to be that way.

All the MTX are literally just fluffs to make the C-Suites happy and check a box. This game is a master piece and what DD1 should have been if the technology was there back then. You're missing out if you let the reddit neckbeards losers make you think this game is trash. Look into what these MTX are you can earn all of it within the fist 2-3 hours of gameplay and the currencies are so easy to farm it not even an issue

BG3 Game of the Decade

Very good strategy game. The learning curve is steep but not that steep if you're used to Grand Strategy games like CK2, CK3, Stellaris, etc. It just number management. Do some trade quest for like 2-3 hours to build up resources, then go full mercenary and just take the church quests and then start selling slaves, horses, cows, back and forth till you build up like 2k-3k silver and enough buffer for your companions and then just do quest. Save scum often if you're new but eventually when you get the hang of it game is hella fun and of course it require lot of reading so may not be for everyone.

Remind me of earlier games where they don't hold your hands and just let you bash your heads against the wall till you find the most min-max way possible to beat the game lol

It pretty good

Good game but need more diverse content and more NPC interaction. Right now the game feel kinda the same after you pass the first two zones and keep going higher doens't really feel any different

It is a good games with its flaws. Some quality of life mods were required to make the game playable and there were a lot of crashes as well as bugs near the end of the game. The DLCs were pretty underwhelming, same for the ending. It was obvious that the Devs planned to have a bigger and grander games but at the end they ran out of budget and just did a half ass ending that honestly kinda lessened the experience of an otherwise good games.

The early to mid games are very fun and the realism although not well implemented was still nice for people who're looking for a more grounded medieval game,

I would said the main quest is pretty underwhelming but the game package as a whole is worth its money. Maybe buy it on sale and not full price.

Here to hoping KCD2 will give us the closure to Henry story as well as a less buggy experience
