Early Access Review
After playing FTL multiple times with multiple mods it's great to have a new game which works similar to FTL but with its own creative twist.

Minecraft in Space simulator, very relaxing, no fear of constant death or thinking about your place in the universe.

The best FPS i have ever played. Smoothest movement system. Gunplay is strong and satisfying. Titans itself are a 10/10 original and game changer addition. This is THE one of a kind game you have to experience. Still wishing for titanfall 3.

As a big warframe fan, i was always on the line of warframe good, destiny bad. But after playing this, you cant really compare these 2 games. Sure both are futuristic looter shooters but thats where the similarities end. Destiny has a really good focus on cinematic story quests as well as PVP which was pleasently surprising after playing hours of warframe where PVP is non existent.

Destiny just scratches that itch you have, where you want to be a warrior god, differently than warframe as nothing is just 1 shot like in warframe, even at higher levels you need some skill, you cant make a god build that 1 shots everything, and that is what i like the most.

However the few downsides after playing warframe is that you really miss the modding system. Destiny has a heavy focus on weapons more than mods. The mods which are present just provide more utility rather than game changing (such as changing the element of gun). Same goes for armor and the powers. They aren't that customizable or intuitive. There are 3 classes, each class has 3 sub class, and each sub class has 3 paths. But there isn't much, if any, inter mixing between paths or sub classes. Everything is pre packaged for you to choose.

Guns arent that unique till you start getting exotic weapons which have unique perks and mechanics. But by the time you get your first exotic, you have already lost the charm of getting new guns as you must have hit the soft limit of power which means your exotic weapons aren't the best of the best by the time you get it, its just similar to the weapon you already have with a unique perk and a submission to really make it stand out.

Over all since it is free, Great game.
Since it is free. Install it, play it for about 50 hours. By then you will either uninstall it or buy the forsaken DLC.

>start a new game
>learn the names of your team
>send them to scavange at night
>location turns out to be an old couple's home asking you to not rob
>come back empty handed
>neighbours kids ask for medicine because their mother is sick
>dont have medicine
>next night go to a rich persons home
>found that rich person with his house destroyed, he begs for food. Dont have food so grab wood, medicine and extract.
>house gets raided, someone is injured
>kids come back asking for medicine. Only have 1 and an injured teammate. Gives it to kids, everyone is happy.
>goes to a shopping mall next day, a soldier tries to harass a girl
>intervene, gets shot, dies
>everyone becomes sad, kids come back and say their mother passed away
>alt+f4

Its free to play, and a perfect example of pay to win as well as time is money, so if you dont want to pay, spend time and you still win.

Now almost reaching 1000 hours, and joining college, the game feels a bit more grindy since my gaming time is divided between destiny, siege and other games. But the updates are still enough to make it worth it.

Very nice game. There are a few bugs with the laser sentry killing you through the wall and the stealth takedowns on the guards. But other wise it's a must play.
