For some reason the game became extremely slow on Linux. Never had any issues until now. Can't play the game anymore. Any tips how to fix this?

Hello, I have had TWOM for many years and have never had this issue - I hit "Play" and my screen goes black like its getting ready to start and then crashes... but no crash report, it just stops. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, verified game files, got rid of all mods, etc. I'm out of ideas as to what could be causing this. Any help is appreciated as I really wanna play again! :)...

This War of Mine has no respect for players time. So many times waiting for a character to finish resting or digging with bare hands since building and bringing shovels with is for people who don't care about winning.
