Overall it can be a good game. But for the love of Christ, dont listen to CDproject reds min specs. You need somewhat decent hardware to play this until the actually optimise it.

I have a i7 4790k plus RTX3060ti and can play on high at 60fps with dips to the 40s in the city. Used to have a 1070ti and that was low at similar fps.

I could turn Ray tracing on but then I would be stuck around 40fps and thats no bueno.

So either:
1. Wait until they sort it out and patch it.
2. Make sure you have somewhat next specs. No playing this on your old 980ti and expecting 60fps.#
3. Buy it on new gen consoles (if you can even get one).

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BUY IT FOR PS4 OR XBOX ONE. GAME WILL NOT RUN ON THOSE MACHINES! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Early Access Review
Very good game. Or it will be once released. I went into this a bit sceptical. And I will admit, for a full price game, it is still a bit too much in early access if you catch my drift. I would of liked to see more for the price that I paid.

BUT

That has nothing to do with the game, just not 100% satisfied with the devs business plan.

SO

Is the game good?

Very much so, it has the makings of a excellent RPG.

Would I recommend it right now?

Only if you are a big Larian studios fan (You liked divinity original sin 1 and 2)

If you are new to RPG or to Larian studios, I would wait till full release.

Now to the game.

It has bugs....and I dont just mean the creepy crawlies.

The level cap is 4 (why oh why could you not just lets us have one more level? A lot of endgame fights involve level 5 npcs, why cant we match their level?)

It works of D&D logic, now I have never played D&D but basically, there are roll checks in the game (every game has them, just hidden, its basically RNG but you can see the rolls). So you might come to a conversation and it says "you can persuade this dude to punch himself, to succeed you must roll a 12". So the game rolls a 20 sided dice and you need to get 12 or higher to succeed in the roll. Not complicated at all, kinda fun.

Enemies hit harder sometimes then they should. Though this could just be because I dont know how to build a proper character? :(

Visual glitches out the arse so much it actually makes the game better(!?!?!)

You can have sex with a racist frog (♥♥♥♥ you lae'zel)

Voice acting is on point, cannot be better.

Graphics are decent

Overall a great beginning to what can be one of the best RPG's of all time. Just gotta wait for Larian to complete it....

Oh, also remember, you can solve a lot of your problems by pushing people, trust me.

If you liked the last two Tomb Raider games then you ought to give this one a go.

Its OK but like Rise Of The Tomb Raider, it is not as good as the first one.

The game looks great! Controles are nice. Game crashed on me once (and that was on the first day of the 48 hour early access). I had a problem with my 360 controller but it turned out to be a driver issue. Works fine now.

Story is meh, kind of bland with some good parts.

It took me 19 hours to finish and this was with quite a bit of exploration so I am sure I could complete it in less than 15 hours if I focused on the story only.

Overall a good action adventure game. But unfortuantly, like ROTTR, it fails to live up to the masterpiece that is the first game (of this reboot).

Still, if you are a Tomb Raider fan, I recommomned you get it now, if not, then wait for it to come down in price.

Was great until GTA online came out. Unless you are willing to pump in hundreds of hours to earn in game money you will need to pay real money for shark cards to have anyfun in the online multiplayer. Sure if its on sale, get it for its single player which is alright for a GTA game but dont expect the multiplayer to be fun unless you are willing to pay hundreds of pounds for in game cash, even then, it aint that fun.

Great game, People are now complaining about the rise in fees, fair enough there was no notice of this and that is bad. But in the end all they have done is that they have made the fees "fair". By this I mean they have raised the fees in countries that used to pay WAY less than others did. The fee in my country has not gone up, so people are crying because they no longer have special treatment.
