I guess Doom is ETERNAL now. Denuvo Anticheat is no more and I can recommend.

Recommend. Game is worth it even now (first day of Early Access), but I do also have high hopes for the level editor and the music library. Game itself is really solid and mechanics are great. It's a fantastic starting point for a VR rhythm game.

The price can be kinda hard to swallow, but for the first time in almost 7 years I actually felt the same sense of wonder I had when I fired up Skyrim for the first time & saw the vast landscapes and distant mountain ranges. For that alone I'll give this game a recommendation.

I also appreciate the way most of the VR mechanics were handled in this game.
The game making you jump back when you try to peer through walls is a simple, effective and undoubtedly easily exploitable mechanic, but I do like it.
Getting rid of the crosshair for bows seemed unreasonably harsh at first, but after getting used to it I've rediscovered my old love for stealth archery.
& many other things that just don't pop into my mind right now.

The game definitely has some annoying VR related issues right now, though. (Oculus player here)
- Tilting your head while moving causes you to turn in unexpected ways
- Health/stamina/magicka are all over the screen and behave in a really odd way.
- The controls are just overall kind of hard to get used to.

Overall it's a positive experience. I just really hope all the interface related bugs get patched soon.

I guess you could say this game has a steep learning curve.

Game becomes incredibly easy once you've been over it a few times though. Seriously. It's kind of amazing how that just happens really.
