A year in a half ago I wrote a review with thumbs up, but some critiques on playing with linux. I have sense played far longer. Currently, it is wonderfully stable with a few launch commands through proton.

This game is almost everything I would love in a game. It replaces Ark survival anything, with how stable the game is. It has tons of details and freedom to do anything. the servers are far *less* trolled than ark. There are tons of mods to add additional details if you so desire to RP in this world.

The world of conan is not for the faint of heart and the style and mechanics fit this theme. It is very well done. This game has gotten my husband into listening to the books on youtube. But if skin showing, beating people up, and taking captives makes you squeamish, I recommend a different game. probably a different genre as well. This game is from a time when stories were strong, heros unperishable, and villains vile. There is blood, summoning, slavery, and to top it off: lots of mods that make it NSFW. (you can disable most of that, but if you aren't married I'd recommend waiting to play this game. even sensored they are quite naked to start.)

The building ability in this game is far superior to any games similar. I haven't played rust yet to compare but the devs are also actively improving this game. you use a building hammer and select the peice you want to build while holding materials. The snaps work so very well (unlike ark). And there are a million tricks on yt for how to build highly detailed buildings. and tons of mods that add aditional styles, objects, details, and models.

Simply, this game is well designed, well thought out, well implemented, and even works great on linux. In comparison to similar genre games it is far superior. only downside is they have several game changing DLC that you will want to buy to have the full game. to be fair though, they have devoloped this game long enough that it is a far price for their work. deserved .
