I have no patience for those who say "It is [current year], there is no homophobia nowadays" then ignore the fact that some countries, especially Muslim countries, criminalize homosexuality and is sometimes even punishable by death. Nor do I have patience for those who say "Being gay isn't a choice and is fixed" while saying "Gender is a choice and/or fluid".

I'm fine with showing you compassion, even with situations others might find trivial. However, I cannot do so when you exhibit double standards about it.
