This game is hard. If you're not looking for a challenge you might want to look somewhere else.

I've been playing off and on for about a month or so and I'm on the last legs of Chapter 3. This game is designed to wear the player down and force you into situations that you're not familiar with as a strategy gamer. The enemy is designed to be smart and cunning while (typically unless you have M1IP or AH-1Gs in your deck) having superior equipment and arms. Some might call it unfair but I'd personally proclaim it as more of a battle of attrition and wits. Luckily the game is still sprinkled with that Zachtronics charm that you'll find in each of their other products. The addition of a couple extra mini games really takes the edge off the ruthless skullcrushing that the main story provides. You'll know the meaning of Infuriation once you meet the truck escort missions. On another positive note, the way that the game switches back and forth between different battle groups such as Armored, Infantry, Airborne and Recon divisions makes sure you don't get too comfortable with the arrangement of equipment you're presented with while also providing a different experience every few 3-5 missions.

This is more than just a strategy game, it's also a puzzle game that forces the player to think far ahead and compensate for their mistakes. I heavily recommend this game for anyone who thinks they're a good strategy player. (There is also an easy mode if you're truly having a hard time. )

Last Thursday the developer added a Multiplayer mode which I'm stoked to try out with anyone if they're interested!

Edit: Low playtime is due to traveling a lot, I just completed Chapter 3, Mission 10 today.
