This is one of the most unique and replay-able colony sim I have ever played. I love the art style, the unique strengths and weaknesses of each clan, and the pacing of the game. It is very challenging, and incredibly rewarding when you succeed. It's nuanced and makes you want to master it's intertwining mechanics to truly become the best viking clan on the island. It is real-time with pause, but you can't perform any actions unless the clock is running, which is a really nice touch. You can pause if you need to, but it's a truly real-time experience so you are always thinking on your feet.

If ANY of this piques your interest, I would absolutely get this game. It is one of my favorite colony sims, and something I plan to keep playing for a long time to come. Oh, and did I mention there is a storyline mode as well?

If you enjoy tinkering with physics, learning from mistakes, and absurdity, this is your game. The learning curve is pretty steep if you don't want to look up the tips and tricks, but it is very rewarding when you realize that you are able to secure efficient orbits and dock with stations with minimal issue. Very much worth the money.

This game is a beautiful blend of satire, morbid humor, tech trees, construction sim, farming, crafting, cooking, exploration, and so much more. I really enjoy the art style, the music, and the atmosphere of the new world you find yourself in. A good game to relax and enjoy on rainy days.

This platformer has some of the most interesting mechanics I have ever used. Completely infuriating at times, but throughout the whole game, it feels like every mistake (and subsequent death) is purely of no fault other than my own. The detail and subtlety the creator put into the control of this game makes it one of the most fulfilling platformers I have played, and may ever play.

Underneath all of this, the story is powerful and moving. Gives an incredibly good representation of what it feels like to struggle with self-doubt and mental health issues in a creative metaphor: climbing a mountain. I love all of the characters, all of the scenery, all of the game. I can't give this enough of a thumbs-up.

Please, do yourself a favor, and get a copy.

This is an incredibly relaxing game. Very good atmosphere, and general vibe. All fits nicely together. Runs decently on my older MacBook Pro (late 2012), as long as I have it on lowest settings (which still looks nice, in all honesty). Still early in the story, so I am hoping it opens up a bit more, as up to this point there has not been much challenge, but the pure joy of the slime interactions and behavior has been enough for me so far. Would recommend for rainy days or when you just want to sit back, relax, and ranch some slimes.
