Takes a while to get into. Like real life, this game is unforgiving.

It's a realistic depiction of the mercenary career. It does have time compression but if you shouldn't use it when travelling etc. to experience how dull being a god of war is.

It makes you question every second and every decision, which is why it's so rewarding when you get it right.

Missions are sometimes bugged but who (tf) plays tactical games for the story?

The problem in today's gaming culture is expectations generated by marketing pieces, too much hype, virtue signaling web reviews and just general stupidity. It's not AAA, it's a horror adventure created by a small studio apparently bankrupted by a blogger who has a problem with nudity.

You watched a trailer and expect something easy to ingest, highly polished and carefully made to be the most popular thing ever with the biggest demographic that can create the biggest profit... EA level sh*t. Everyone's got a problem when games are done by million worker gaming studios to be safe and purely profit in mind but nothing is ever good enough if it's made by three people in a home office.

It's a decent horror game, best one in a while as it achieves in creating a specific type of an atmosphere that is apparently too much for some people. Don't get it if you expect a triple A game or you're easily offended by the horrific realities of being in HELL.

It's really is a sad state of affairs when hell needs to be politically correct.
