I have played Fallout 4 on and off for many years and recently decided to 100% the game, get all the achievements, and leave my final thoughts on it before any of the large overhaul mods such as Fallout: London and F4NV come out to pull me right back in.

Fallout 4 is a fun game and one of Bethesda's heavy hitters. At the same time, it did cut down on complexity regarding the RPG elements that Fallout is typically known for; it made up for it in improved gameplay, the addition of a settlement system, and a relatively steady and interactive gameplay loop that has you constantly looking for parts and trinkets to further upgrade your arsenal or build up your settlements. The best part about Fallout 4, as is very typical for Bethesda games, is the modding scene; Fallout 4's modding scene is some of the best in gaming all around, many creators have taken to using Fallout 4 as a framework to tell some fantastic stories, I highly recommend you replay or start playing Fallout 4 with the Sim Settlements 2 mod along with all its additions as it is truly a story worth appreciating.

This is not an in-depth analysis or review of the game. I want to let you know that I had a lot of fun playing it, and I believe you will, too.

it was truly and amazing experience and the game looks amazing aswell. I had many moments in game where I just stopped and enjoyed the view. Can't wait for Horizon Forbidden West on steam!

I waited a long time for this game and was excited for it. After playing about a hundred hours and various faction questlines and whatnot, it is hard to see myself playing it all over again. The new game plus mechanic is cute, but the exploration is the worst ever in any Bethesda game.

The game would have done a lot better without the numerous loading screens that mess with the seamless immersion you could have. Furthermore, another good approach to make the game more like an actual Bethesda game is to limit the number of systems you can travel to and add more cities in the "core" systems, even on the same planet. With this approach, Bethesda could make a densely packed settled system as well as some fully fledged outer-rim worlds that are handcrafted.

It's great fun! Chaotic, spooky and an overall great experience.

Truly a special experience, this game blasted my expectations for RPG games soaring high in the sky.

I just hope i can still find enjoyment in the RPG open world games to come.

Love this game to death, there is just so much diversity to go around. You can play as Elves, Lizardmen, Humans, Dwarfs, Vampires and so much more. Definitely one of the best total war games out there.
