Great game that is amazingly executed. Allows people with low skill level to work with the games magic and come out on top, but still excedingly difficult. 1.0 release made everything fresh and cool. Some people said they down graded the graphics but I never saw it and if most people tone down the graphics to see enemy players like in most arena shooters, I find it troublesome that people have no recommended this game for graphics alone, it looks and feels great and genuine.

The most insulting game I have ever played.

This games story should be a book so that people do not have to play it.

Oblivion has better game mechanics. UI can't decide weather it wants to be big or small conceptually. Enemies are hard, except when they aren't. The game does not communicate anything to the player, as in there is an optimal order to do quests but the game will never tell you, the DLC is not optional, you can be tripped into it and forced to play quests that do not respect the players time, do you want to do chores as a miller for 20 IRL minutes? You will if you want to play the game of course. Do you like the reputation system? You will fall into poor reputation for doing all of the correct and good things due to event triggers not corresponding with the game time. The game is "playable" and that's why people award this piece with good reviews. This game deserves so much less.

I want to write this review as a "Wow, I love this game!"
However, I can't just not bring myself to read some of the negative reveiws left on this game

If you are reading this reveiw and haven't played the game, I would just like to say you shouldn't hate on the basics, Graphics, Writing, Etc. if you feel like you will like a game from this genre or maybe you are into story depth games and you won't bash it for certain things my recommendation definately goes out to you.

As for my touch on the how others who don't like this game, here's the thing, I don't disagree. You think Mae is infurating to play as? I thought so to. But I didn't take that idea and run with it. I didn't stop playing the game. And I most certainly didn't throw all of the other qualities of what makes this game unique out the window. My first few hours consisted of disliking the fact that there are usually two dilouge options both not conveying what I want to the characters. So my only con to you, fellow reader, is that something my stop you abbruptly in this game, something may stop you from continuing to the end of the game. I have to agree that not everyone will like it.

But here's why I love this game, here's why I kept going. One scene you are presented with two dilouge options.
"I don't even know." and "where to even start?" In the way this is presented it forms a sentence, this was also later into the game, but it pulls this trick all the time. sometimes the only context clues are in the dialouge options they are just extra information, and in rare cases they aren't. This may upset people becuase it seems that both options do not matter, "the dialouge just asks a question? Do I get any more choices?" For me, it ended up being the best reson why I love this game, it seems like and endless fight with the dialouge only to have it make you submit. Sometimes you have no choice but to give in, and let the dialouge progess with very little feeling of choice. But also, sometimes it feels like there's a lot of weight behind two dialouge options, and sometimes it took me a few minutes to decide one. But I always thought, after I got over it, what a better way to keep the player on their toes but to make the dialouge not just a set of options to say, but to surprise the player with what they can do. Or can't do. after a few hours in, I enjoyed every minute of it. Looking forward to more playthroughs.

9.5/10

Early Access Review
This game has everything that is in the trailer, yes. They have mostly hammered out all the bugs, despite the fact that the devs provide numerous warnings that the game is bug filled. I really enjoy the concept and it acts it out. The only complaint I have is lack of content. The good thing about the game as a whole is that it is a somewhat difficult survival game. I died to the plauge in the first playthrough and hunger and thist at the same time in the second. (man that hunger and thirst ignore in the joy is harsh). I have see reviews complain that you do things for the sake of doing them, in a way yes, but hey if you have to resort to steal and murder in literly ever playthrough when you run out of supplies, its ok!

This game was my intoduction to visual novels
I usually don't do visual novels for the replay value. But this one I bought because it was very worth it.
