Very shallow in content, you see it all in about 5 hours of playing.
Also, human NPCs have basically an aimbot and shoot instantly when you or they peak around the corner, bad and not fun.

Great game despite the bumpy launch and server problems which are now somewhat fixed.
Game is NOT p2w which is great to see in an mmo, though it has a box price and a monthly sub after that which is why the game isn’t pay to win.

MO2 has nice and satisfying full loot pvp, gathering materials to craft armour or weapons with is rewarding but can be a long process if you’re trying to get to the higher tier materials, player fuelled economy and player driven content, large open world to play in with plenty of poi’s, also has proximity VOIP feature which is nice.

Though MO2 has somewhat limited quests, the devs confirmed that more will be added down the line.

From what I understand, the game went free and it lead a lot of people to be angry, which is understandable.

However, if you like deep and complex crafting system, with isometric graphics where you can do almost anything the way you want it, then consider checking the game. There is a premium subscription you can pay for, however free players are not limited in what they can do.

This game does not deserve to be on the steam store, it is a bag of wank.
The controls are very delayed and the game is very laggy. The latency feels like you are controlling the Rover on Mars, aka 20k ms ping in between the earth and another celestial body very far away.

Not forgetting to mention:

EDIT: After playing 20 hours of the game, all you will ever find in matchmaking is absolute brain dead kids that just spam the same move over and over with the lance weapon, and/or any other weapon that can be easily spammed. There is no mechanic to stop the spam, so be prepared to be bent over and have a lance stuck up where the sun doesn't shine.

In addition, to all the spammers in this game: please stop, get a girlfriend, and start spamming your little weiner inside of her instead. Thanks!

Tutorial server is overwhelmed by new players, it might take you an hour to join.
Best bet if you try tomorrow, or simply force your self in by constantly trying to reconnect.

The devs are working on this issue and will soon increase the player limit for the tutorial server, which currently hosts 100 players, where as the two new servers hold 1.5k players each. The dev team did not expect such a huge wave of new players joining Wurm, I guess you could say they are still learning to operate at this bigger scale.

Other than that, it is the best MMORPG Sandbox game you will ever play, all you need is patience and the willing to learn and to over come the steep learning curve that the game offers to fresh players that never experienced such play style that Wurm offers.
