I've got to say that in the time Playing ive encountered naught of the complains most people here seem to have with the Performance.
The game is running just fine on my decently modern but a few years old now hardware, I even cranked up the graphics to close to the maximum and have not noticed anything in the way of slowdowns. The Only issue ive encountered was that the very first opening cutscene was desynced in terms of audio and video, but all the cutscenes afterwards weren't,

The Vocations (classes) I played so far are fun, and are certainly more unique compared to the first game, with some previous abilities having been reworked into the core moveset.
The Pawns themselves were also massively improved, why they almost act like people now instead of telling you that "wolves hunt in packs" or that "Goblins fear Ice and fire both".
Instead, the Banter, they tell stories from other Arisen they've been with, you even get to do a little celebration post combat with them sometimes, on a technical note their Ai also seems smarter than the first game just from observing it, they do sometimes forget how cliffs work though
As for the Other complaint people seem to have regarding the Microtransactions, what is wrong with you? Are you being held at Gunpoint to buy them? No you aren't, and as it stands they are pretty much useless, as you can find merchants who sell some of those items quite quickly, and yes even the character looks changing item can be Bought Ingame, the riftstones too are gaining in game from chests and when people use your pawn online.

Capcom likes having those tine microtransactions in their games for some reason, I mean just look at DMC4 or monster hunter but I don't hear anyone downvoting the game for them, do you?

All in all I can thoroughly recommend Dragons Dogma 2, it is a worthy Successor of the first game and a well crafted Evolution of the Gameplay

Did you know that the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV has a free trial, and includes the entirety of A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, AND the nomination-winning Stormblood expansion up to level 70 with no restrictions on playtime?

It is pretty much impossible to actually connect to any of the servers, with even an remotely stable connection, but even what i did managed to see proved enough to tell me that the game is incredibly shallow and lifeless, being strung along on its last legs. it is certainly not forth the money being asked for it, not even during a sale, there are much better games for much cheaper, and most importantly of all with a less incompetent Dev team.

Dark souls 2 already fixed many of the things that were clunky in Dark Souls, and SotFS ups than ante once again.
the only real downside of it is the linear levelpaths compared to other games of the Soulsborne Franchise.
However it is still a game i would recommend any fan of Soulsborne games.
