Easily one of my favorite games of all time, and one I've replayed numerous times. This game is a cinematic masterpiece that perfectly captures a feeling of sheer alienation, fear and dread. Some settings are heart-pounding and left me needing a breather. It's also riddled with events that make you question your morality whilst in a life or death situation with only one hope. The longer you play, the more you realize there are no 'bad guys'; everyone in this world is a victim, and it's an amazing but tragic story line.

Brings me to tears every playthrough. 10/10

A game that's really fun to get lost exploring within. Lots of mechanics, customization, and choices to make. An amazing and supportive community and a dev team who's always looking for new content to add. Has some bugs here and there but is an overwhelmingly good experience, IMO.

A very twisted, dark and depressing storyline with an equally twisted, dark and depressing atmosphere. The lack of jumpscares leads to a very intense lingering feeling of anticipation that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Another cinematic masterpiece of a game to add to your horror collection.

Contains plenty of nudity, gore, and sexual content, though, so viewer discretion is advised.

Lots of fun, better in co-op. Definitely has seen lots of improvement over the years and has developed a solid fanbase and community across multiple platforms. Lots of future potential yet. Definitely recommend!

A gorgeous, well-executed story about broken time, sacrifice, and consequences... I've been meaning to play the full version of Oxenfree for about 2 years, and the wait was absolutely worth it. The journey is a fantastic, wonderfully put-together journey with plenty of deep meaning behind it, and the realistic imperfect teenage characters are lovable and easy to relate to... simplistic (yet effective) level design and graphics, unique art style, and charming voice acting.

Multiple endings, hundreds of choices, and plenty of easter eggs make this game a great candidate for multiple playthroughs. Also incredibly thought provoking; albeit in my experience. :)

Prehistoric Minecraft with better graphics, animation, sounds, and resolution, AND mod compatible.

This game is quite good quality, with a variety of large explorable maps and tameable creatures, as well as a large selection of craftable items. If your PC can handle it, this game is a need for people who enjoy survival/exploration (and a bit of horror). The terrains, textures, and skins are all well developed, the lighting and atmospheres are immensely beautiful, and you can occasionally find yourself getting pulled in. :) You can easily spend hundreds of hours without getting bored, as the game gets deeper the longer you look around. There's a few learning curves for some mechanics, but overall it's easy to get the hang of as time progresses.

I, however, do NOT recommend this game for anyone with poor WiFi (like myself, ~50 kbs download speeds..) because the updates are large and frequent, and quite painful for slow internet. If you're able to handle the updates and you have hard drive space, you shouldn't have many issues with this. :)
(P.S- The game itself and its DLC's take up 200+ gigs of space so be wary when downloading any add-ons)

Half Life is a classic in gaming, and I still believe that people should buy and play it today, for both the experience and the story... and I can now happily say that Black Mesa proved to be a fantastic recreation of the original game we all know and love.

Exceptional graphics and beautiful audio, as well as the addition of some well appreciated 'easter-eggs' here and there... :) The atmosphere of the game manages to feel both nostalgic and contemporary, and overall carries itself amazingly from start to finish.

I may just be a HL fanatic... but I highly recommend, either on sale or full price.
