There's only so much running around repeating school hallways I can do for hours on end. Outlast II focuses far too much foreshadowing things that really don't need foreshadowing at all, and pays them off in increasingly disappointing ways. An entire B plot through psychosis flashbacks that makes zero sense to the rest of the game, unless I seriously missed something. If you want to play this game for the atmosphere and the scares, then yeah this game is fine. But if you want to play this game for its story (which Outlast II really wants you to do apparently), then it's really not fulfilling. Also RIP Lynn you did not deserve what the story put you through for literally no reason. Like why did we need that birth close up though. Wish we had even a single additional scene with her besides maybe 2 minutes that isn't her in horrible pain.
